Not happy with the results

ORIGINAL POST

Disappointed and Dr. is Extremely Arrogant and Rude.

It'll be a year in November since I've had an upper and lower blepharoplasty. At my 6 week post op I was met with a female doctor who looked over my incisions and said everything looked great. Then I had a 3 month post op with Dr. Quiroz and her, and I felt like he uses her as his hype person to reassure his patients that everything looks great, when in fact, it doesn't. Before my 3 month follow up, I had messaged themI regarding concerns to one of my upper eyelids, there was extra skin/lump on my crease, and lower eyelid ectropia and/or retraction. When I went in for my follow up, he looked at my eyes and said everything looked great. I explained that I was not happy with the results and he said it was too soon to determine the outcome, that I shouldn't be so picky. Before I could even finish telling him my concerns he interrupted me and began to talk over me as to shut me up and telling me no two eyes are symmetrical. I explained my discontentment and he was just very arrogant and rude AF. He gas lit me each time I tried to bring up my concerns. I don't see how he has so many great reviews. He has awful. I regret ever going to see him and trusting the reviews on this site. I would urge anyone scheduling with him not to get blepharoplasty as that is not his strength. He's also very unprofessional and egotistical. The staff was very professional and accommodating as was their dermatologist, but Dr. Quiroz is not someone I would ever refer anyone to.

How are you now? Did your lower lid hang?

It’s the same. I still have extra skin on my upper eyelid. The picture showing the lower eyelid retraction is when I make an o-shape with my mouth. Otherwise, my lower lid has a slight droop normally. You can notice the difference in both my eyes. I just cover that eye with a side bang. I’m contemplating seeing an occultist surgeon that can correct it, but I’m sure it’s going to be really expensive and I’m also now traumatized that it’ll get worse.
