Upper Face Bellafill

Wendi is a doll and clearly has the experience and skill set to do what she does. She is also a very nice lady. However, I am unsatisfied and disappointed with my result. I should have been more stern with her. I asked her to NOT place the filler directly beneath my eyes. She did it anyway while telling me that I needed to trust her. The lovely shadow directly under my lower lids is now filled. My lower lids appear puffy when I smile now. My eyes now look smaller. Not an improvement. That slight shadow under the lower lids between the lower lashes and the orbital rim had accentuated and flattered my eyes. Now that feature is gone..for good, unfortunately. I was nervous during the injections, as it felt like she was filling where I had asked her explicitly not to. My face was well numbed so I was unsure exactly where she was placing the stuff....which is permanent. IMO Bellafill should not be injected directly underneath the eyes. Also, she attempted to fill my tear trough...on one side only. It made the trough worse. All in all the treatment has been a dismal failure and complete waste of money. Wish I'd gone to NJ to Dr. Joseph. He always make me look better and isn't as expensive...even with the airfare! I'm hoping he can plump my cheeks up a bit so the area between the lower lashes and tear trough won't look so puffy. A word to the wise....YOU know what works for you. You know your face better than ANYONE, no matter their expertise or recommendations. Trust YOUR own judgement.
