Just some clarification

So, the volbella just didn't give me the oomph I was looking for. I had a total of two syringes injected (they are 0.6ml I believe), on three different appointments. It just seemed like I would leave the appointment with soft fluffy cute lips but in about a week, the increase in projection would be lost.
Since then I have had Juvaderm as it was suggested a "thicker" filler would better suit my needs.
So far so good, and I am happy with the juvaderm. I wish I went with this initially.
Dr. Sandra Lee is very kind and accommodating, no complaints at all. I feel as though they (Skin Physicians and Surgeons in Upland CA) were listening to all my concerns, etc.
I felt like it wasn't fair to leave the review as it was, an incomplete story. So there it is! An update!
If I round up some pictures to help demonstrate the story I will post those also.

I got one syringe of Volbella almost entirely in my bottom lip. My injector felt that the entire syringe would have been a bit too much, so injected the remaining amount in my chin. I have a pretty small chin and in general a soft/weak lower face.. These cropped pictures make me look like I weigh about 100lb more than I do because my lower face is perhaps my worst feature.
Anyways.
I'm writing this review to document how my lips are changing very quickly, although I was told Volbella lasts a long time.

do you have a before picture to post? its difficult for us readers to comment if nothing to compare to. In my personal opinion and research on Volbella, I chose to not go with it, because I don't think its the right product for volume and used more for the lines above the lip.

I thought it was used for lines not lip enhancement? Are you saying that it's going away quickly in your lip or your chin or both? by the way your lip and chin look great you look very young!

I got volbella in my upper cheeks 2 months ago and still I have the same results I had on day one; it depends upon the individual, some metabolize HA fillers sooner than others. I am going again for another syringe next week as first one was just the trial as I was afraid it may not stick, but it did.. at 2 months so far.

btw, results I got from volbella were far superior than I got from voluma; I guess I needed something superficial and not deeply placed like voluma. I am talking about cheeks though and not lips; my lips are good so far, so not filler there yet.
