@Nora - I did 4 non ablative laser treatments for stretch marks on my tummy (residual ones after full TT). It has done wonders for me. I am now after 10 years wearing bikinis to the pool. There is always hope! : )

Hi i have read your post about your stretch mark treatment with laser, I have the same problem as you. I'm from Norway, I have researched lot about laser treatment. Found this page in the end, it is much negative and few positive tings about this treatment on realself. I have however much stretch marks on my legs, but I wonder if the stretch marks sort of "comes back" after your normal skin color sets back. I read here that the are starting to get really whit again?Do they come back as they have been? Have some of your stretch marks disappeared completely? You look great? :) Hope to hear from you

Norwaygirl - I ended up setting up a review for my experience with having my stretch marks lasered. I think if you click on my user name in blue it will take you there. In the end, I experienced much success and am very happy that I did it. After 4 treatments mine came back with minimal depth, a better color and a better texture.

hey Jen :), I have seen your blog but I feel it is difficult to see before and after result as the images are not quite clear. In the pictures it seems like you only have 3 very very small strechmarks. Do you have any other pictures that are more clear, before and after? thank you for responding to my questions :)

Hey jane :) Do you think you could add some new before and after pictures in more light? The pictures on your profile is hard to see the pictures because they aren't that clear. Stretch Marks are not that noticeable in the dark or some times inn the house, but out in the sun light or in very bright light they often are very visible, I wonder do the stretch marks still shine in the light? hope to hear from you ;)

I am also doing laser treatments and have been told to stay out of the sun. I will be using some serious sunscreen this summer.

Gotcha! Thanks for answering my questions. Do you think a self tanner would take to skin where there once were SMs when you're done with treatments seeing that the skin is regenerating (if I understand the process correctly)?? Sorry to obsess w/ tanning, I just love being tan, esp living in a warmer climate but I'm so reluctant to bronze either outside or from a can b/c of my SMs. What type of laser treatments are you getting if you don't mind me asking?

HI! So sorry it took me so long to reply. Thank you for your complement and congratulations on your weight loss! I also have lose skin and stretchmarks. I hate it! Unfortunately, stretchmarks never tan. They're scars, and scar tissue doesn't create melanin like healthy tissue does. Tanning will not make the marks darker. Healthy skin around the marks will get darker when you tan causing the stretch marks to look whiter and more prominent. I am really fair skinned and would love to tan, but I am scared of making my marks look worse.

Isi94 - I have a review for stretch mark treatment as well. Check it out. While there really isn't a way to remove them 100%, I was very pleased with my outcome.

I have had 2 treatments - scheduled for 4 or 5. Mine are already about 40-50% better which more improvement to come. It will never be 100% but probably 75% which is a huge improvement and difference in wearing a bikini and not.

I'm not sure about the percentage since I don't know how to measure it, but I just posted a photo and you can barely see them. I would definitely say it's worth it.
