Hi, I am new here and I am excited about getting my implants! I have looked at this site and have read NUMEROUS peoples experiences and I'm ready to have my own!

I have 3 lovely children and I have breastfed 2 of them for both over two years each and my boobs have deflated so much and have left me me with little to no boobs! I am already a very small chested woman, but going from a size A/B to a size C while your breast feeding and then when your finished you breast deflating to barely even getting in a A cup SUCKS!! I am VERY nervous about having this surgery, but I am also VERY excited to have boobs in my life! Does anyone have any suggestions for me to make my experience a pleasant one after my surgery?

Hi! I too nursed my two kids for 1 yr each. I was so sick of looking down and looking like a boy! I just had my surgery and am very happy with the results. I received a BA and did a minor reverse tummy tuck. I was too afraid to have a normal tummy tuck. The dr took about an inch of loose skin and brought up under my breast which makes my breasts a little bigger. Same incision where the implants go in. If I were to give you any advice, this is what I would say: 1) do a time of back exercises. I had no clue how bad my back would feel after this procedure, and I consider myself a pretty active, healthy person. Thank goodness for my heating pad! 2) I didn't like the pain medicine. It made me mean! I only took it for two days. After that I just took Tylenol during the day and Tylenol p.m. at night. I didn't want to be grumpy Toward my children! 3) TV was my best friend! I caught up on all kinds of TV series. I bought a Roku and that has kept me entertained and my mind off of any discomfort! 4) by lots of pineapple juice or fruit. I didn't realize how helpful this was. 5) my boobs weren't same size so dr planned on putting a bigger implants on the small side and a smaller implant on the larger side. I wish I would have paid more attention the day of surgery --I just trusted they had it written down right, but they didn't! ---when I got out of surgery, I noticed the left side was bigger than the right! They accidentally put the Bigger implant on the bigger boob! I am pretty upset about that! 6) arnica cream is a must! I am so glad I bought it! It makes me feel so good! 7) I stocked up on lots of frozen foods at the store. That way I didn't have to cook and it was easy for my husband and kids to eat. 8) Don't freak out if you gain some weight afterwords. I freaked out, and I practically starved myself for a couple of days, and I passed out and hurt myself! That was your stupid!

Thank you so much for your response! I will definently make sure that I triple check with them about my implants! Are you in process now for them to fix it?? I will make sure to get some arnica cream and the tips about the frozen foods are GREAT!!!! My husband loves to eat so I was a little concerned about that! lol

Yes, all good tips! I also want to add that I don't know where I'd be without my recliner and pillows under my back and knees. They all help so much! The pain seriously is not bad. I only took Percocet for 1 day then did 1/2 tabs for a day then just Tylenol. Nothing to be nervous about but I know how you feel. Good luck! What type of placement and implant are you getting?
