Good luck with Dr.Salama ladies. I read one review on Dr.Salama that was so discerning, I could never choose him. I'm not sure of the author, but she is on RS and the title is something like "Dr.Salama ruined my life". I know that no dr is perfect and results vary, but this female had to get multiple skin grafts and If you read the entire post, I believe that there is some sort of malpractice loophole that he qualifies for in which he can't be sued or doesn't have to carry malpractice insurance as part-time status. I know Dr.J has complaints like "robbed" but i haven't read of anyone getting burned so bad that several skin grafts were required. She shows the graphic pictures as well. So, although no PS is perfect, this one review no longer made him an option for me, but this is only my fears, so I just wonder about him having no lawsuits, as this lady's review states an attorney told her she can't sue him. I am still researching, but I would feel bad if I didn't ask you if you have read this one review knowing you have chosen him. I don't want to rain on anyone's parade, but I just want you to be well informed and I honestly wish all of us ladies the best success and great results.

Hi Juicy007, You are right! Yes, I have concerns about that post as well as so many other thing!!!! I did read her post and totally changed my mind. I chose 2 other PS and found that they had faults with patients as well. When it all boils down, we are still making a decision to put ourselves in the hand of man/woman. My prayer is and always will be "God you lead the surgeon." I put my life in God's hand, as I pray that he is the head. That is all I can do! This is the risk we take... I have been researching for a very long time and have read issues with almost all the top names. The odds are like 10/1000. Don't get me wrong, I don't agree with the ten, but either I am going to do or not. Unfortunately, I seen another burn patient from other surgeon and it really concerns me! My pray is "Lord if it's not for me don't let it happen!" Because it's not that serious! Thank you!! PS. and she wants to get more surgery done!!!!

I agree with you, everyone has a bad review or two, but 10/1000 isn't bad at all. I am still trying to decide and I only started my research in August 2013, so I am sure I haven't come across a lot of pertinant reviews. Like you, I read the good with the bad. And to be honest, I am scared to death of DR because of a few bad reviews and a few deaths, but then I read a review yesterday by "exoticasiablue" and her review alone has changed my perspective. I guess I'm afraid of being that 10/1000 but I keep asking myself, if I do require a round 2, because there is no guarantee, then should I spend $6000 or $18000 on hopes with no guarantee. I had an in-house consult in September, but I have to Gain weight, unfortunately, which isn't as easy as it sounds. I need to gain 60lbs, of which I have gained 38lbs. So, I am even more paranoid about needing a Round 2 of which I won't have the fat for or the $$. But I appreciate your perspective because I have been a RS stalker since August, but I just started a profile a week ago, so I'm still learning the process. I trust your instincts and wish you all the best. When is your surgery date? I am scheduled for a second consult in August 2014 to see if I have gained the necessary weight, so I'm in no rush until I have something to work with LOL. I am going to do some more research on Dr.Salama and positive reviews to enhance my knowledge and increase my PS research span. I am seeing so many good results and I will probably stay in the US so hope to speak to u some more and get some good advice. Follow your heart and you will have your desired results...

Dr j may be cut and dry but his results speak for themselves. I had a bbl, tummy tuck and breast aug done all at once by him. I prefer cut and dry. I a no-nonsense kind of girl, so that didn't bother me at all. Dr. J is extremely busy, but great at what he does. He knows how to shape a butt from a black man's perspective.
