I recently had MOHS surgery and I am very pleased with the results. Was very worried I was going to have to have a forehead flap but Dr Bordeaux was able to use skin from the bridge of my nose to repair the damage. I had 4 layers of skin removed and was left was a hole 10mmx12mm. He and his staff were amazing. The worst part of the whole procedure was the injections to numb my nose before reconstruction.

2 weeks after my surgery and I am finally able to not wear bandaids. I am still applying vasaline to keep the area moist. I still have lots of healing to do but its looking pretty good.

Thanks. Just developed a rash on my incision site that is super itchy. Dr Bordeaux says I may be allergic to the neosporin I used. So need to stop using that and strickly use Vaseline. Its still very noticeable but I am hopeful it will not be for too much longer.

Its been a little over a month since my surgery. I started using coconut oil and have seen some improvement in my scar. It is still very visible and raised up but getting better every day.

Wow, if it took only 1 month for your scars to heal as in this photo, I am impressed! And encouraged; I am scheduled for a MOHS surgery, (also on the tip of my nose) in two weeks. I am a bit nervous, so it helps to see good results like yours. I also have a BCC on my upper lip, which will be done after the nose. Crazy, huh? Good luck!

I am getting ready to go for my 6 month follow up in two weeks. My scar looks pretty good but it is very important to avoid sun. Mine got a little burnt today cuz I forgot to put sunscreen on. Good luck. The worst part is the shots to numb. And the reconstruction (just being awake for it, the noises you hear). You'll be fine.
