42 Yrs Old Basal Cell Carcinoma on Tip of Nose. Cleveland, OH

I recently had MOHS surgery and I am very pleased with the results. Was very worried I was going to have to have a forehead flap but Dr Bordeaux was able to use skin from the bridge of my nose to repair the damage. I had 4 layers of skin removed and was left was a hole 10mmx12mm. He and his staff were amazing. The worst part of the whole procedure was the injections to numb my nose before reconstruction. Updated on 8 Jan 2015: 2 weeks after my surgery and I am finally able to not wear bandaids. I am still applying vasaline to keep the area moist. I still have lots of healing to do but its looking pretty good. Updated on 1 Feb 2015: Its been a little over a month since my surgery. I started using coconut oil and have seen some improvement in my scar. It is still very visible and raised up but getting better every day. Updated on 7 Jun 2015:
