WORTH IT
After having 2 children by c section and a huge weight gain I eventually lost over 5 stone even with a daily fitness program the loose skin was not going to move I had a big apron around my stomach and was getting depressed I finally made the decision to have a tummy tuck to remove the skin best decision I ever made .

the transformation is awesome.....i am planning on having a large apron removed in march next year (2017). Over the last 3-4 years i have lost 8 stone and my belly just wont budge, i feel it is similar to youe pre-op picture.........can you let me know how you felt after such a large amount of skin was taken? Basically can you fill me in (if you have time) on your recovery and length? thank you

Hi so sorry for late reply had a problem with my emails.AlI I can say is it was the best thing I ever had done,I had the tuck in Dec 2014 I was in hospital for 2 nights had 2drains in which I hated but was very lucky as I didn't go home with them, the pain was ok I kept up with my pain relief always, bowels took a while to start working also missed a few of my monthly's due to the Trauma but all settled down in time .I had a plaster and my binder on for the first week then went to see nurse for dressing change and was amazed at how good it all looked was so pleased.Ok so recovery I went back to work beginning of Jan I had 4 weeks off 2 weeks of that was Xmas period .I did have a slight infection in my belly button but nothing antibiotics didn't sort outs had a great surgeon and team of nurses on call at any time. I went for a 6 week check up with my surgeon and was aloud to start exercise but nothing to strenuous.please make sure you wear your binder for as long as you can I wore mine for 8weeks day and night it really helps with swelling which believe me is horrible.I don't think you can prepare yourself for that I thought I did but had really bad days where I just cried as my belly looked huge it sort of went from flat to huge over night but it is all normal unless you have access fluid that may need to be drained .The swelling can last for months I was told up to a year but it's not all the time and it does go down .i went back for 12week check and had bulges on the side which you can see in above pic so had lipo 6 months after but this is normally done with tummy tuck but I couldn't have it at time.later I had dog ears removed on day surgery all in with original price.hope this helps and good luck:0)
