I will be having a neck and face lift with Dominic Bray on 14 June. I hope all goes well. I will be posting my experiences and results here. I have given the cost in dollars, but it is actually £16,000. I used a conversion chart for the equivalence of pounds to dollars. My initial talk with Dominic was encouraging, and I have begun the Obagi regime in preparation for the big day. The pre- and post operative diet is a bit of a challenge because I am a vegan, but I am optimistic that I will work out the diet restrictions with some thought.

Yeah, a fellow vegan!...I have a long list of foods that I can and cannot eat in the week before and after the surgery. Needless to say, I am going to have to be creative in my menu creation for those two weeks. I live on fruits, vegs and nuts and for my delicious nutri-ninja smoothies, but I am thinking I will be subsisting on Rude Health puffed rice and oats, poppy seeds, fresh pears with the skins removed, bananas and whatever else I can figure out from the permitted list. I have noticed that chickpeas and avocados are on neither the non-permitted nor the permitted list, so if I can use either of those, I will be so happy. Guess we'll see.

Yikes! Is this price for only a lower facelift and necklift?? I have been following Dr. Bray..... But I am in the US.

Yes, the price is in dollars. It is actually £16,000. It seems a bit steep, but I hope and trust it will be worth it. I will be posting before pics closer to the big day, and then follow on pics after that. I must admit I am not looking forward to taking the before pics. Check back to see if you think I made a wise investment or not. Just hope it goes well! :)

I am looking forward to seeing your pictures when you post them. Good luck for your op, I'm sure everything will go really well. Can you tell me how long you had to wait for your op date after your consultation with Dominic ? Just wondering what his waiting list is like.

I'm with Dominic on 19 July so will be avidly following your progress. I'm having face and neck, upper bleths and browlift - are you having your eyes done?
