Unilateral Labiaplasty on 7/21 (24, No Kids)

WORTH IT$1,200
Finally booked my labiaplasty for July 21!

What I am getting done: I am getting one side done with the trim method to match the other side. My left side has been an issue for me for the past several years. The labia is dangly, long, and thick compared to the other one. The other labia causes me no issues, even though it's not as short as it could be, I am happy with it. It makes it look more natural for my body! In terms of a clitoral hood reduction, I do not really have a hood. My clit itself has no skin covering it, it's just my two labia on either side. Therefore I will not need this extra procedure done.

Why: I am getting this procedure done mostly for functional issues, as well as personal issues with my self-consciousness with it. Functionally, it just gets in the way of things. Sometimes while walking I will feel it pinching, and I need to "tuck" it in. It gets in the way during sex and overall I don't feel as clean as I could because of it! I avoid certain activities in the bedroom because I don't like attention drawn to it. It has really limited me because of this! I have always wanted my left labia to match the right one, which I have no problems with. My doctor is going to use the right as a guide to refer to!

Anesthesia: I am getting this done with local anesthesia in-office and will drive myself home afterwards!

Recovery: Thankfully I am in between school and working, so I am able to take as much time as I need to recover. Due to my procedure being relatively simple, the doctor said my recovery should not be too bad at all. I purchased some ice packs and a peri bottle on Amazon.

Consultation: The consultation went very well. I was incredibly nervous, but the staff and doctor made me feel extremely comfortable. The doctor took a quick look at my labia and was able to come up with a plan on how he could trim it according to my anatomy. I felt so confident that I booked the surgery the same day.

Cost: Since I am getting one side done only, I was given a price of $1200. I paid $500 at booking and will pay the remaining $700 the day of surgery!

I am excited I finally decided to get this done. I am sort of nervous, but also very excited. I did not want to go another year hating it! I figure I do not want any regrets. I think once I am done I will wish I got it done sooner.

Who is the doctor that is doing your surgery because I have similar issues of wanting it done only on one side.

Hi everyone.
This morning I had my labiaplasty. Overall, it went very smoothly. Here is what happened:
I checked in at the office and soon was given some numbing cream to apply in the bathroom. I applied it and went back in the waiting room for about 15 minutes.
The nurse called me back and we went into the operating room. I was told to undress from the waist down and lie on the table with a drape. They came back in and helped me into the stirrups. Next, the doctor went over one last time my goals for the procedure and made sure everything was clear. He marked me up with a pen.
Next were the injections. I was scared of this part due to the horror stories I had been hearing about how painful they are. I was surprised that the anesthesia injections did not hurt very badly at all. It was a little pinch, kinda like when you get a TB test. I got 3 or 4 injections.
The rest of the procedure was very straightforward and pain-free. I did not feel anything the entire time. Overall, it took about an hour and 15 minutes total from injection to finish.
I went home and got my prescription picked up. The ice that they had given me was warm, and the pain started to creep in about 2 hours after I left the office. The pain is not unbearable. It is sort of like a stinging or burning pain. I am currently resting up in bed.
I went to go pee when I got home (had no problems with that) and could not resist the temptation to look in the mirror. It honestly looked great. I look very symmetrical now, and happy with the initial results! I can already tell this will be worth it and I am glad I finally went through with this.

No more tissue dangling, which will be so much more comfortable once it is healed. Waiting for the swelling to kick in but so far minimal swelling and pain is about a 3 or 4/10! Will keep updating!!!!!
