Im 27 years old with 2 beautiful children, who were both nursed. I have always felt embarrassed by my small chest.
I was 13 when it started. I was at a pool party and after jumping into the pool, lost my bikini top. I remember the laughter of some of the girls. The one turned to me and said, you don't even have to wear that, its not like you have boobies to hide. I just burst into tears.
At 21 i was told by a guy that if i had boobs I'd be the perfect woman!!!? WTH??
Now i am happily married with a family and although my low self-esteem lurked in the background, my hubby loves me as i am. He brought it to my attention recently that even after 5 years of being together, i still cover my chest when he walks into the bathroom. I didn't even know i did that. The only time i was ever proud of my boobs was when i was nursing.
My son at the age of 3 once asked me where my boobies went to. I must admit i found that quite funny. i just told him that i used them to feed him but he suckled them dry. He too found that amusing. Anyways....On the 23rd of March i mustered up the courage to finally book a consultation with a Plastic Surgeon that has fantastic reviews. I was so nervous sitting in the waiting room that i was shaking while trying to fill in my details on the patients details documents.
Once in the doctor's rooms, i felt a lot calmer.
The Plastic Surgeon was lovely! I thought i'd feel creeped out by him touching me when doing my measurements but i didn't at all. I tried on 2 different sizers. They were not giving me the look i wanted! I wanted bigger.....WAY BIGGER!!!! I was hoping for at least 450cc/500cc....no such luck! Apparently because i am so small, the absolute biggest i can get is 325cc. My heart kind of broke. There goes the D cup i was so hoping to get. But i trust my surgeon.
He said i could always have a revision and go bigger at a later stage, not what i wanted to hear, but it is an option. He sat me down, told me all the pros and cons, about the surgery and that i would be getting silicone 325cc, HP, over the muscle.
My surgery is scheduled for April 29th. Now to go shopping for a sports bra for after surgery! :)
I will post pics soon.
