Post Hernia (Aesthetic Repair) Pictures to Come..

I had a hernia repair with a doctor at Stamford Hospital, in December. I am a mom of two and I worked really hard to get my body back after my husband and I knew we were closing the door on having more children. I am so happy with my post kids tummy and was elated that I felt no need to have any stomach surgery (mommy makeover).

In November, I had a really bad cough and blew out an umbilical hernia and had to have it repaired medically. After the repair (without the cosmetic portion), the doctor did a great job fixing the hernia, however, pulling muscle together also pulled my post baby lax skin, creating crepy weird skin around my whole belly button area.

I met with Dr. Yuen-Jong Liu, last month, to fix the cosmetic portion of my hernia repair. I am nervous and excited to have this procedure. I picked this doctor in particular since I was referred by another office as well as felt very comfortable with his plan of action regarding my concerns. His confidence and patient care as well as staff spoke volumes to me.

I will be having the procedure today and plan on sharing both before and afters, to help other woman who are having concerns about their tummy, similar to mine. Also, to show Dr. Liu's work :). I hope this is helpful.
