Very Happy with Process and Result

For most of my life I had an outie belly button, and it wasn't until reading a random Huffington Post article that I realized I might have an umbilical hernia. I saw a hernia specialist who confirmed that it was an umbilical hernia. I then researched various surgeons in order to get the best treatment possible and ultimately chose Dr. Dumanian. I am happy I did.

Dr. Dumanian was realistic, friendly, and reassuring. I could tell that he really cared about his patients and wanted to give them the best treatment possible. I was happy to have my hernia fixed but was also nervous about what my belly button would look like after surgery. Now, it looks fantastic and way better than it did before! I was really impressed with the result! A big thank you to Dr. Dumanian for treating me well, fixing my hernia, and making it look great! I give Dr. Dumanian the highest recommendation!

Could you let us all know the cost of the repair? Thank you in advance
I'm not sure because it was covered by my insurance.
What did you belly button look like a week after? I got mine done a week ago and it looks horrible, the bulge still seems to be there and I'm hoping it will go down. Did that happen to you?
Mine looked bad a week after too (swollen and just unsightly generally)! And I was a bit worried it would not turn out okay. At my checkup about a week or so after, the doctor said it was looking good, so that made me feel better.
Okay good to know! I have another question I'm sorry lol! Did it look like your outie was still there a week after or did it look like an innie right after? Mine still has my outie bulge and I want to know if it will go away!
can I ask how it was repaired? did they use permanent mesh, dissolving mesh or just stitch you together? thanks
