I stumbled upon an article by Dr Kesarwani while I was doing some research on umbilical hernia and diastasis recti to determine whether to have them repaired at the same time. His office staff were extremely helpful in responding to my inquiries promptly and professionally. His experience as a general surgeon and a cosmetic surgeon was particularly appealing to me. At my consultation with Dr Kesarwani, I was reassured by his demeanour - he is calm and explains things in a simple and factual manner, which I appreciated. The surgery went off smoothly and my recovery was swift. The clinic was supportive in the aftermath of the surgery which was key. My core feels stable and strong, my scarring is minimal and has continued to improve, and I've had follow up appointments to monitor my progress.
I'm quite satisfied with my experience and the outcome of the surgery which resolved my immediate concerns around the hernia and fixed the diastasis at the same time.
