Ultherapy for jowls works but not perfect

WORTH IT$3,500
I visited The National Center for Plastic Surgery for a consultation on jowling. It was recommended that I get Ultherapy, filler and a chin implant. As of this picture, I had only done the Ultherapy treatment. As you can see in the side-by-side photos, my jaw line is smoother. The pre-jowl indent is also smoother from a front point of view. The pictures are pre- and 2 months post.

That said, I've seen pictures of women older with worse jowls than me come out with significantly more correction. So, while I recommend it, I'm still disappointed that it didn't do more.

Tip: Go to a plastic surgeon's office and request the gas, and you'll feel very little pain - or none at all.

I see what your saying. The women that were older did they get more treatments then you did to see the correction .

Is there a reason why this surgeons Account is suspended?

It may work on jowls because it reduces facial fat. Your face is smaller and slightly bonier now.

Thank you for sharing. I think the discomfort greatly varies from patient to patient. The gas makes you loopy but doesn’t make it less painful. For some it’s almost unbearable, others say not so bad.

I just had this treatment done this week. On a scale of 10, I'd give the discomfort a 3. I took 1000 mg of Tylenol an hour before heading out. I found it very tolerable. I was so scared based on a lot of comments but let me tell you, it's ok. The person doing the procedure said she would do the strong strokes first and then the soft ones. Not too bad...looking forward to my results. Any change is better than none!
