I’m really hoping I didn’t waste my money... still not seeing much of a difference, if any.
Feeling has returned in neck & under chin, though there is some lingering, intermittent numbness & sharp pains under the chin (neither are unbearable).

Carrie from Shaban Cosmetics at Revive MD performed my ultherapy (under chin and neck). I’m 46.
I’m hoping that ultherapy will tighten the skin on my neck, improving the elasticity & minimizing the burgeoning “turkey waddle”. I feel that I am too young for a neck lift (which is also more invasive and expensive). I really can’t afford the down time or expense of a eco lift at this point in my life, so fingers crossed that ultherapy gives me a bit more time and doesn’t exacerbate the situation.
It WAS painful, but not unbearably so. I’ve given birth and I have 3 tattoos... I would equate it with a tattoo in a sensitive area, especially when a nerve is struck. That’s about the most painful part- the sharp bolts of nerve pain. The heat is uncomfortable at times, but again, not unbearable. I used deep, diaphragmatic breathing during the procedure and took the prescribed Xanax & pain killer.
Afterwards I was numb and sore, but was able to go about my day with little discomfort. Day 3 I’m swollen and it feels a bit tight, but it isn’t noticeable to the naked eye!

Ultherapy- my journey- under the chin & full neck...
I have been very self-conscious about my developing turkey neck and crepey looking skin. I’ve been looking for ways to tighten the skin and have tried a variety of things such as Botox in the threads of the neck (which actually made it a bit worse), and all kinds of peels, creams etc.
I feel like I’m too young- and that is it isn’t severe enough yet- to warrant a neck lift (though that has crossed my mind)! A neck lift will most likely be something I’ll need to do in the future, but hopefully not anytime soon.
I’m hoping that ultherapy will tighten the skin and even improve the texture as well, since he neck has become quite crepey in the past year, and I’m still a single & active woman!
