Ultherapy damage - melted fat in my face & aged me 10 years overnight
Ultherapy Damage
Ultherapy is user dependent. It’s is ultrasound and it is being administered by nurses and aestheticians who know nothing about Ultrasound or extensive knowledge of facial anatomy. If I can help one person and prevent them from this torture, then it is worth writing this review. Please know there is a risk of fat loss, even in the hands of a doctor.

Oh no!! That is so tragic. Though it doesn’t surprise me because I was extremely depressed after Ultherapy and watching my face melt away.
Celebrities who are endorsing these devices are reckless in my opinion
Thank you for this post. I appreciate you bringing awareness to the devastation Ultherapy is causing many people
I am doing good. I’m not fully healed from the surgery but I’m lookin more like myself each day.
Let me know how the filler works out for you.
Praying it goes well
Ultherary Damage Post Surgery update
I hope you are doing well and making progress with the Ultherapy damage. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you as I know it’s such a long, painful journey.
I am now 4 months post surgery. Here is a photo. My surgeon said this is pretty much how I will look though it takes a full year to heal. I have fat grafts to my cheeks, under eyes and lips. Also a lower lift. I am very happy with the result! As scary as it was having to undergo the surgery, I am so glad I did because I knew I couldn’t live with the disfigurement.
My surgeon is Dr. Timothy Marten. He is the most kind, understanding doctor and he and his staff treated me like family. I can’t say enough about him and how comfortable he made me feel throughout the process.
He has experience fixing Ultherapy damage. I was not his first. He let me know that he is taking new patients and to provide his name here on this thread.
Blessings,
Ann

Sorry you’re having a difficult time finding an empathetic doctor. I went through the same at first. It’s like no one wants to touch you because you’re damaged. Don’t give up. I reached out to many doctors nationwide. It took time but worth the wait to find the right doctor. Good luck and hang in there. You will. Send me photos after you get filler
in my area who can acknowledge the damage and find a way to fix it. I stayed in a hotel this weekend for a wedding, and I was horrified on what my skin looks like under bright lighting! I can literally see all of the tiny slash marks from the laser, and my skin also looks like it has stretch marks from all of the fat I lost in 3 years. My lips even thinned out now too :(. I hope to wake up from this nightmare one day.
You will get through it. I never thought I would. Stay strong and keep me posted
I hope you feel better soon.

I am 6 months post surgery and doing well. It was a tough surgery and I’m still slighting numb and some residual swelling. I look much better and younger but honestly I miss my 56 year old pre-Ultherapy face. I’m soon to be 59 and I feel my new face doesn’t match my insides but at least my face is restored. I am very grateful though the journey was a living hell
I’m in a similar situation as you are and I’m sure you’re looking forward to having surgery in March, and that date can’t come quick enough.
May I ask please, will your surgeon be doing a deep plane face lift or a fat transfer to correct (or both)?
I’m likely going to have the deep plane face lift next Nov but am wondering if that’ll be enough.
Good luck. The nightmare will be over and you’ll look better than ever soon!
I had my surgery 2 1/2 weeks ago. Thankfully they were able to move it up. My doctor had to do both a SMAS lift and fat grafting.
I’m not healed but I can see that the damage has been corrected- no bump, lumps, indentations or loose skin. My doctor recommended both procedures. I’m not familiar with your particular situation because I haven’t seen photos but in my case I needed both as the damage was extensive
Good luck!
