I am writing this review to help people not only those that want a trustworthy and amazing rhinoplasty surgeon but mostly for those who are in search for a surgeon that really specialises in rhinoplasties and can treat also the "very complex cases" and those that have had multiple rhinoplasties that have had terrible results. Trying to find a surgeon that would risk a 3rd,4th or like in my case a "5th" rhinoplasty is very hard especially in the UK. Firstly they daren't touch you because the outcome could be worse and then the psychological effect can be too much for some to handle when your nose has been through so much surgeries it's a huge risk for them to take on. I did have a profile on realself website but deleted it after many surgeons rejected me in my quest to find help over the last 2-3 years. I spent a lot of money in consultations and travelling far afield to visit surgeons for them to say nothing can be done...just responded with "May be some counselling!! " I became very depressed and embarrassed of my photos on my profile after 4 rhinoplasties my nose was just a mess and humiliating I no longer wanted my profile on show so I deleted it all. I'm gutted really now as would love to share the responses I had, had and before pictures but never mind you have my great reveiw now. I didn't want to give up so returned to the site to keep trying but without my profile. I was even willing to travel to another country if needed. Anyway I decided to email surgeons personally not paying for any consultations fees anymore (can be verrrry expensive) and wait until I actually find someone that after reading the problems and the many concerns I have with my nose says "yes, I can do this" Still getting done rejections I finally had a positive response. MR RAJAN UPPAL!! He asked to see me and said he specialises in complex cases and may be able to help. He has changed my life! I have tears in my eyes writing this as unless you have been through what I have had to endure for the last 5 years you would understand why I have tears of such happiness. I am finally back to normal, happy, confident self. He has changed my life totally around. I actually thought some of his reviews sounded to good to be true but no he is all that you read! .. An understanding, approachable, good listening, very professional and realistic surgeon. When I visited him on initial 1st consultation he listened to me and we discussed realistic results. I was happy with any kind of improvement ....my results are actually to me just perfect!! He showed me on his iPad at the consultation his expected results and he has achieved better then this. I can not understand how he has achieved such an amazing reconstruction but he did. Mr Uppal and all his staff were just amazing I can not recommend him enough especially those looking for help with complex cases. He even came to me right after the surgery to my hospital bed after recovery room and showed me photos he took whilst I was still sedated before he placed the cast over my nose so I was reassured for the week before cast removal. And I was just overwhelmed with the fantastic results then! . I could not believe it was me!! Plus I think this is such a thoughtful thing to do especially as we know how we feel when we don't know what could be under the cast for the 7days before removal . I'm sorry for such a long review but I had to explain just how hard it was to find this great surgeon that has changed my life. I'm so glad I persevered. I can not thank MR UPPAL enough and all his wonderful team. Your amazing!!! And thank you so so much your worth every single penny spent!! (Please see below recent photos now 2 months after my procedure. I'm to embarrassed to put the before photos as they are really bad but I'll email anyone personally if they wish to see. )

Hi Nathalie...No graft at all. I did have a very, very scooped out upper bridge and one of the previous surgeons that I visited in a consultation said he could possible help even out my bridge line by filling in the gap with a graft and use cartilage removed from the ear but he said it wouldn't make my nose any smaller just improve the profile by evening and smoothing bridge out. I had many other issues so he said he didn't want to risk it as he thinks this wouldn't make me happy as wouldn't improve areas of excess scar tissue etc on either sides of my nose. He advised I get a filler injection and if I was happy with result he would possibly consider this approach. Plus he said no other surgeon would be able to ever correct my problems to a decent level. I would have to just live with this. I wasn't happy with his suggestions anyway so kept looking for another surgeon. I didn't ever give up. When I met Mr Uppal he suggested not to fill in the scooped out area his technique is very specialised and different and suggested his approach would be to smooth the hump down resulting in a smaller more natural harmonious feminine looking nose ... I straight away new we were on the same wave length when he said this and my gut told me to go with him. I would definitely recommend visiting more then one surgeon for a good consultation. If your not happy or don't get a good feeling with their opinions visit another. This was a huge mistake I made in my initial Rhinoplasty. I didn't do any research and just went with the 1st one I saw who was local to me for my convenience... Well this not only lead to 5 years of huge inconvenience but extra huge costs too.

Thanks for your long message and clarifying. I think you bridge looks a little bigger now but smoother lower which looks more natural, I thought he used a graft because also it looks very smooth. The last rhinoplasty because he performed Osteotomies made my nose smaller and shorter and I have yet to see a doctor who promise he can he can give me the results that I want. Most of the ones I have met told me to leave my nose as is but there's not one day that goes by that I am still looking to get it done in hope of getting something close to my old nose back :(
Very tough decision. but I am looking for a doctor who is well experiences with graft because also I have some slight indention in my nose bridge now .I am in the Us but going to London in September so was still looking for my miracle doctor ! anyways thanks for ur response.

My nose is so much smaller then before not bigger. If I went for the graft to build up the bridge and fill in the scooped out area it would have resulted in a bigger nose I had lots of thick scar tissue over the nose and around the sides of the bridge. This is why I chose Mr Uppal as he suggested to file down my bridge and yes he had to perform osteotomies to bring in my nasal bones and re-align them as they were not straight. I had indintations in the skin also on both sides. This is why I am recommending him as I never expected such a smooth result without a graft I have no idea how he has managed it but he has. Yes he is my miracle, like I said in my review I was told by most that nothing can been done and this was hard to hear and live with. I didn't give up my search and I'm so glad I found him. I wrote my review to help mostly others that are in the position I was in. I totally understand how you feel. It was on my mind constantly day and night I became unemployed due to it also. Now I go about my day everyday without a thought on my mind. It's a huge change in my life from

I am in the exact same situation as u are... I lost my job due to how sad I had became, and it is on my mind everyday when I wake up and look in the mirror and I try to be happy but never 100 % happy because terribly unhappy with the way my nose is. went to see at least 9 to 12 surgeons in hope of a miracle and they all told me that it's better I leave it the way it is because it is not "that bad " or I could end up with worst results because the mores surgery u do the more risk you take etc..I cannot even think about spending the rest of my life with a nose I dislike, so I am not giving up either! thank u for ur message it is indeed give me hope. please send me any docs u have or before after u have about Dr Ruppal. thank u so much

I looked at ur pics again, the before is on the left? ur nose looks thinner and longer on there but looks fake..on the right looks a little larger but way more natural and how a nose should look like:)

I've got he same problem it's its very depressing and distressing haven't been able to breathe brighter 30 years.

He specialises in very complex revision rhinoplasty cases. I agree he doesn't have many before and after rhinoplasty photos on his site to justify he great work but he showed me some additional ones when I went to see him and I was very impressed. He was also listed in the prestigious Tatlers cosmetic guide 2015 as the top surgeon in the UK and this is in recognition of excellent results after nose surgery. He was top of the list and Charles East was next. They were the two recommended for best in the Uk for the nose. If you google this you'll be able to find and read this article. I'm not sure if we can send private messages via realself ?? ..I would like to get your email address to send you my photos. You'll be surprised how bad my nose was. I'm too embarrassed to have them public. I definitely think he is worth the visit for a consultation considering he is one of the very best for noses in the UK. Definitely see more then one for reassurance but im sure you'll be impressed by what and how he can achieve great results. x
