After years of research I finally got labiaplasty, by dr Hagen. I had this procedure done on the 6/12/18. I’m currently 1 day post op, I’ve been taking paracetamol for pain relief. However, I feel like I need something stronger

Today I’m 1 week post op, it’s has certainly been a roller coaster. The first 2 days post of, is was taking paracetamol but I was feeling intense pain so I have to end up buy co-codamol tablets which worked much better only use for 3 days.
I didn’t get any bruising, which was great! I was talking bromelain, arnica and quercetin which has worked wonders. I’ve been icing everyday which has helped with the swelling.
On one side feels fine but the other one I can still pain. I think a lot of people don’t talk about a lightning bolt that zaps you, it hurts so much!!
I’m currently off medication and just icing I still haven’t managed to walk properly yet hopefully next week I can. I haven’t got out of bed either just to go toilet and eat as instructed by my surgeon

Hey thank you ❤️, yes I spoke to my doctor today he said I’m healing fine but I do have a lil bit of slough, which is yellow tissue. But it should go away on it own

I’m finally 2 weeks post op!
I’ve stopped icing from week 1 as my outer lips swelling is gone. I can walk properly now but I have not push it yet to go outside. I’ve had 2 complete weeks in bed.
I still get bolts, on one side and do have swelling on one side the inner lip. Once my left side has gone down I will be fine from there
I can start using soap this week finally! I still don’t feel completely fine though so I will do one more extra week of taking it easy. I’ve sent pictures to my surgeon just waiting for a reply now. This is a very long healing journey if your thinking about this procedure.
