After years of dreaming and wishing I could one day have breasts I was comfortable and confident with, I finally decided to make some enquiries into breast augmentation. After my first consultation with The Harley Medical Group and sorting out financing it suddenly dawned on me that this could actually happen - for real, not just a far off dream! I was assigned Mark Solomos and immediately started researching him online, I saw the negative reviews but reading between the lines of a lot of them I felt that they weren't ever about his outcomes but purely about his bedside manner/rudeness. It sounded a lot like people who had been expecting their egos to be stroked and were annoyed when they just got a matter of fact chat and not someone interested in molly coddling them. I decided to go ahead with my meeting with him and decide for myself and I can tell you it was the best decision I ever made. Mark is perhaps not the most flowery person in the world with his words, but he tells you as it is, is totally straight talking and gets right to the point. I was in and out within 10 minutes of chatting to him and trying on one size of implants. Again after this appointment I had a mild panic, in the weeks leading up to my surgery I worried I hadn't tried on enough sizes to compare them, Mark had picked a size for me and I'd been overjoyed with the look of them but I hadn't tried anything else on to compare, was this a mistake? Did he really know what I wanted? I called my nurse at HMG (Brighton Clinic, also highly recommend) and discussed my worries with her and she offered me another appointment to try on different sizes, but she did tell me that she had had her own breasts done with Mark only 8 weeks ago and he had picked her size in much the same confident way and she said she loved them and he had been 100% right. She told me that the staff within HMG all call him "God" and that 4 of the women in the Brighton Clinic have all had their breasts done by him (ranging from ages 20-50's!) which gave me back my confidence in him, after all if you work in the industry and could have your pick of surgeons and they all picked him he must be good! She explained to me how and why he chose the sizes of implants he did for me and he chose anatomical implants as I was so small to start off with to give a more natural look and after our chat I was happy to go ahead with his decision and trust him. Again, this was the best thing I could have done. I had my surgery in October 2015 at Highgate Hospital and it was absolutely fine, Mark popped in briefly before my surgery to draw all over me (as they do!) and again this was brief and to the point but his confidence in his ability is absolutely founded on his amazing results!! Nearly 5 months later and this is truly THE BEST DECISION OF MY LIFE. I am SO happy with my results, I have perfect perfect natural looking perky 32C breasts I could have only dreamed of and I LOVE them! My scars are tiny (2-3 inches) and in the perfect crease and fading amazingly. The shape and size of the implants of exactly what I wanted, Mark got the sizes spot on (I had to have 255cc and 300cc because my chest is a bit wonky and I worried they'd look different but they're perfect!) And if I ever have plastic surgery for anything ever again, I shall be coming directly to Dr. Mark Solomos because he really is amazing at his job and his seeming occasional cockiness is totally founded on his high quality results. At the end of the day I don't need my surgeon to spend hours with me comforting me, I need him to be amazing at surgery, and his results speak louder than words ever could! If you are thinking of having a breast augmentation with Mark Solomos and hesitating due to any negative reviews you've read on his personality - don't think - just DO IT! You wont regret it!
