21 days post op

This week I went back to work. I was feeling ok, but If I could have choosen to not go back to work for another week I would have. On Thursday I woke up with a bad headache, I took ibuprofen, but it did nothing for me. Around 12:00 I had sudden nausea come on and had to just sit for a few minutes, and as I did I then had to run to the bathroom to vomit. When I came home my head hurt so so bad. I have a history of migraines and this felt similar to that because sound and light was excruciating. I tried to eat a cracker when I got home which was a horrible idea.... fast forward to evening I tried to eat a little and it did not stay down. After vomiting that time my nose started bleeding a little. Yesterday I still had the horrible headache but I could at least eat and keep it down. During the night last night I woke up in horrible pain with another headache! I thought I was going to wake up feeling great, but I was so wrong. Thankfully I still have some vicodin because that is the only thing that helps me rest. I did my sinus rinse and noticed that what came out is green... I hope this isn't an infection. The pain feels like my head is going to explode out of my temples, and gets worse when I stand up or reach down for something. I emailed my doctor and am waiting to hear back from him. Has anyone else experienced migraine type headaches after septorhinoplasy/ sinus surgery? Help if you have any advice! I haven't been drinking caffeine, but read that could help and so could taking allergy meds, so I took a claritin and drank a cup of coffee... (I'll post new photos as soon as I am feeling better...)

I am feeling good! I thought I would be back to normal by now but am realizing that I am still in the healing process. I get super tired after a little activity. I did find a stitch that my doctor forgot... I think... I don't go back for another check up until March 4th and he said to not worry about and he will look when I come then. Hope that's ok! There is still swelling in the tip of my nose, and it is really up turned... I hope it doesn't stay so piggy like... Have any of you had that? Does it drop at all? How long did that take?

Today is the first day that I can honestly say I really like my new nose that finally works for breathing!

2 weeks post op!

I am finally feeling like myself again! I had an appointment with my doctor today and he said I am healing really well. All my bruising is gone and the swelling is going down. I am doing sinus rinses because I had the sinus surgery. That in itself is interesting! So much gross stuff comes out, but I feel so good after!
