Took my bandages off today 6/1/18

$2,700
Went for my follow-up and everything looked good. They took off the bandages and gave me my first wash. Told me how to take care of it and to wash it everyday for 10 days I think. I wrote everything down on a piece of paper. Still wish that i had got more but I guess it's for out AA best interest to heal properly. Sorry for the poor pics, I'll do better when I get home Sun

Don’t really agree with that (less grafts because of our hair type) to be quite honest bro I think they sometimes give you less so that you have no choice but to come for a second HT. Either way looks like you’ll have good coverage in the front. All the best man.
I second that.. However, it was a FUE process so possibly because its difficult to harvest the grafts without damaging it via FUE
Good point!
Yea that's how I feel too, a hair is a hair is a hair regardless of its texture. I'm kinda feeling like I could've got the same quote for the amount I got in the US with my ticket and all. Not completely sure if I'll go back to him if I do go back even tho he did a good job. It's like pulling teeth with him about where u want ur hairline also, I don't feel like mime is low enough to my liking. He was saying it won't look natural but dude there were hairs there already there from before
Yea he was saying that he could've got more but didn't want to damage me, I mean besides from a couple of red spots u wouldn't even know I had follicles removed on the back of my head
He’s just making excuses for the lack of time, care, and patience that they spent on your head. They all come up with that crap about looking out for your best interest. Typically they are working on more than one client and are somewhat rushing.
Good luck bro
I’m a black guy aswell wanna get a transplant in turkey don’t know what doctor to choose , stuck between dr.cinik and dr.ali Emre karadeniz who should I go with ???
Ali is good and knows his stuff, I'm expecting all of my follicles to survive hopefully. I like Cinik because of the coverage bit u don't know what ur left with. I actually may end up going to him next time cause this isn't going to be a yearly deal with me, next time will be all or nothing
Just took a look at your pics.....I think I spoke with u on YouTube and via email before....from the look from your donor hair....it looks like they got 3 to 3500 grafts from your donor area...probably had alot of transections while harvesting the hair.....the implanted area looks like they scattered about 1500 grafts through the frontal area!....it's not densely packed at all..probably half your grafts died during the harvesting!....obviously they don't know how to harvest your type of hair!..
Yea I was thinking the same thing cause they took a lot and didn't cover half the area that they took from me. I'll be going back to get my crown done but not sure I'll be going back to him. He did a good job but like u said no didn't get the coverage I was expecting. I have a whole year to decide on my next move cause this will be my last one abroad
I’m still scratching my head as to why you thing he (well his techs) did a good job??? Oh yea, it looks like they transplanted roughly about 1100 grafts.
I can tell you right now, you’re more than likely not going to be happy with the outcome. If you decide to ever get it done again, study the look that you want, then be VERY FIRM on what it is that YOU want done. You know what look you’re going for, not them. ALSO, I would advise NOT to let them sedate you. They seem to prefer you to be sedated so that they can half-azz everything without you questioning them, then be able to leave the room and attend to another client, while their TECHS do most of the work.
Well the sedation part is up to you and your medical professional. “I” personally would want to be fully alert and make sure that they are doing everything as agreed and done properly.
Well I'm happy with the process, just not with the coverage. I was very coherent during the entire process, to much I think since I tried to keep the music up so I couldn't hear what they were doing. I'm making most of the situation, rather have spent 1/4 of what it would've cost here and have the same outcome. I've heard that that guy in LA that specializes in black hair doesn't have the best results every time either. Difference is I didn't spend 18k, nothing is guaranteed
any updates ? i must ask plz. before u began didnt u talk about the coverage ? didn't he say how much he will cover ? didnt u say that u want full coverage in first priority then density ? ill really appreciate your answer to this
What happened with the temple area? Didn't you say you wanted to fill your temples in as well? I DO NOT want to go to Dr. Diep as he's so damn expensive. But he's king when it comes to density and face framing with temples. It seems the Istanbul docs love giving the same high straight across hairline.

Poor coverage

Well the deed has been done and it looks good but I'm not pleased with the coverage. I don't know if my graphs didn't survive due to having AA hair or what. I was told and quoted a price for 3k graphs but I'm sure that I didn't get them all. Hairline looks good tho, I just wish I had some of my crown covered

Are you going to ask about getting more grafts?
Well I went for my follow-up today and he said that it was 3k hairs and not graphs, I checked the messages and he was right. He said that black hair is complicated and he could've extracted more but he didn't want to damage my donor area so I can respect that. I forgot why I chose him and that was he looks out for ur best interest. It was another black guy in there from France today getting less hairs than me. Said I can come back after a year and do it again. The work look excellent tho and I'm pleased with how it almost looks natural now even tho I had it done yesterday. I hope that I don't have any shock loss. Took my bandages off so I'll do a update on that
did you discuss pros /con of doing fue vs fut?

Tomorrow is D-day

I made it to Instanbul and I must say that this is a nice city, I like all of the different architecture and it's some nice looking woman over here to lol. Traffic was bad I guess since it was such hour but I got to see some nice buildings. Plus how many can say that they rode under the ocean and came up in another country??!! My driver didn't speak a lot of English but we had a good conversation while riding. Took a good min to get to my hotel but it was extremely nice. They have a very large 5 floor mall right next to it also so I was able to go there and eat some good food. Oh yea no one else ever said this but get urself US or English power plug converter cause the plugs here are all European. Maybe off eBay cause I spent a grip on one in the mall, he to have it tho. Well I'm tired as all get out from the long 14hr flight from changing planes to have some kid whine damn near the entire trip. I'm off to bed cause it's 8hrs ahead here and they're picking me up at 8am. WISH ME LUCK!!
