50+ Wanted to Look How I Felt Inside - Concept face and Neck

So it's 3 weeks and 1 day since I had the Facelift. My ears are healing well. I still have swelling down sides of my face just in front of my ears. I have emailed Bella Vou & called them to ask if this is normal, however, They said they would check & get back to me, so I am still waiting for a response. I'm sure it is normal though. I am still sleeping upright with 3 pillows. Will keep you posted.

April 2017 Day 1 after Op Well I can't believe I am actually writing this just a few hours after my procedure. I had the Concept face and neck lift at Bella Vou, Tunbridge Wells by Amir Nakhdjevani. I made the nerve racking journey via train from London to Tunbridge Wells alone I was very nervous, as was worried how things would turn out. The procedure took about two hours. Amir & Rohit were fabulous. Rohit held my hand while Amir set too work. The worst bit was having the anaesthetic injections prior to him starting the FL, however, It was no worse than a visit to the dentist. I can honestly say I have had more pain, swelling & bruising from having fillers than I did having this face lift. I was expecting the worst but when I was finally allowed to sit up and look at my face. I was swollen around my cheeks and slightly more swollen one side, my ears were and still are numb but My stitches are extremely neat. I have to stress that Amir does not use glue but his dissolvable stitches. I have no pain at all. My neck is bruised but hidden by my hair. I am amazed at this surgeons talent. Obviously is it early days, however, I will keep you posted on my progress. I am sorry there are no photo's , this is due to privacy. Day 2 Apart from the swelling, which I am sure will settle down in a few days. I feel everything that was expected such as tightness and swelling but luckily I have no pain at all yet!
Hope my review helps anyone considering this procedure Day 9 had my follow up appointment today with the lovely Rohit Seth (plastic Surgeon) as Dr Amir is on holiday. he has such a caring nature. Everything is healing well, scabs are a bit flaky but Rohit advised me not to put bio oil on for another 3 weeks as the oil could stretch the skin. I still have some swelling on sides of face, but this is not noticeable. Day 15
I had a little bleeding on incisions around the tragus on both ears which didnt happen until day 11. I was worried but was advised to carry on washing in shower and drying with cool setting on hairdryer. They are now healing well. I just hope they don't scar. The only discomfort I had was my ears felt bruised if I touched them. I had no pain at all, so feel lucky regarding that. No-one has asked me if I have anything done, however, I have had a few comments saying I look well, relaxed or have you done had your hair done. It is not obvious that you've had a fl but you look fresh and relaxed. So far I can see it's of more a natural look I don't look stretched. Although I need to wait for everything to settle down as I still have some swelling and until the 3 months is up I won't know the end result.I will be back again for another follow up appointment soon once I'm post 3 months. I am looking forward to seeing Amir again and to see what my final result will be like. I am so worried it will drop, but everyone must think that. Will keep you posted
