TUMMY TUCKKKKK YASSS
WORTH IT$6,000
I had a tummy tuck with Dr. Shermak TWO DAYS AGO (2/27) and I'm shocked how good I feel. I haven't had to use any of my pain medication, just offsetting with Tylenol and Naproxen. Each day moving around has gotten better, today I was able to dress myself and fix my hair. I haven't been able to see my results yet but I know this is a long process and what will be will be. The surgery center was beautiful and the staff was super efficient. My procedure and recovery took about two hours and I was on my way home! She removed a total of 5.4lbs of loose skin from my abdomen. I lost 160lbs naturally and I have dreamed of this day for as long as I can remember. I feel so thankful to have had the opportunity for this surgery and to have had such a lovely experience this far!

Day 5
I cannot waitttt to have my first follow up appointment and get this binder offff I have been moving around fine without any pain, still slightly hunched over with back pain lol. Draining is minimal today. This is by far the easiest surgery I’ve ever had and I’m so thankful as there are so many horror stories. The hardest part for me is the mental stuff. Yesterday (Day 4) I experienced severe depression. I have been avoiding the pain medication for this reason, but turns out it’s just how it does. I’m trying to develop healthier sedentary habbits (knitting...i know...AWESOME) as to avoid eating things I shouldn’t either.

Yes, I heard so many horror stories. At my pre-op today my doctor saw I had rotary cup surgery. She told me this is nothing compared to the tummy tuck. I remember how much pain I was in with the shoulder surgery so I feel a whole lot better. 6 days and a wake up for me.
