TUmmy Tuck Gone Wrong

Paid a lot of money for a tummy tuck with lipo. And after a year and a half I am Unsatisfied. I am left with a P shape abdomen because he did not go up and close the muscle in my upper abdominal area. The bottom area he tighten but the top is left with a bulge. When I asked him about it he said I needed to work out. After paying 11k plus. I should work out for the remaining top half. Yea ok. Not only am i left with a bulge, but it is worst after i eat. And very noticeable in fitted clothing. He doesn’t get the contouring. I got the TT with lipo just to bring in the sides. He failed at that. One side was done neatly the otherside was left straight up and down. My abdomen is like twisted. And you can tell because that line that dark skinned women have is towards the side. I didn’t have much fat to begin with. Didn’t think the lipo would be that hard. Went back in after a year and he still didn’t remove the fat area on the one side in my flank area. Would not recommend him at all. I should’ve just went down south. Would have spent way less. And every time I spoke to him he brushed me off. And they missed my virtual follow up appt that was scheduled. Never received a call from them.

Dear Genuine,

Im sorry to hear you are not happy with your results. I really do try to give every patient the best experience possible and the best results possible. To address some of your concerns starting with the asymmetry between your sides. No one is perfectly symmetric. It doesn't exist. If you look at your before photos as well which you posted you can see that your left hip bows out more than your right hip. With lipo- I am removing as much fat as possible and I unfortunately can’t change the underlying anatomy. To address your concerns about the muscle tightening. I absolutely do tighten the muscle all the way up to the xiphoid (all the way up the abdomen) on each and every patient. I actually do a minimum of 2 layers of tightening and often three layers on those patients whose upper abdomen bulges more to get as much extra tightening as possible. I can’t correct for intra-abdominal fullness, a prominent ribcage, or muscle tone that will accentuate an upper abdomen. That being said, I’m a human being. It is possible that one side still has more fat than the other, or that you may have been too active in those first few weeks and popped stitches that led to a less than ideal result. In those cases, I am happy to address the possibility of revision, and often I will do it at no charge or anesthesia charge only depending on what needs to be done because I want my patients to be happy. I’m sorry we couldn’t meet your standards and get your already off midline stretchmark to be exactly midline again. I would be happy to address any concerns in person.

Sincerely,
Dr. Magge

I'm no professional but you obviously could of got done better! That's the point of plastic surgery to look better. Any who, these Drs in the USA are something else they charge you all that damn money. For that price you could of gone somewhere far out and got snatched younger boobs better butt, abs and all lol, took a lil vacay also lmao. This is just my opinion I had to say it cuz I'm so happy I didn't go with any of these US docs. Good luck to you hun.

Technically sweet give it time to fully heal. It takes 6months to see results and a full year to see permanent results. I believe you should have just waited a bit and be more patient. Arguing with a surgeon or staff doesn't help. I think it looks good just give it time hun.

I never argued with a surgeon. And I’m almost 2 years post surgery. Thanks for your comment
