A New Woman!
Short Answer: Amazing Doc w magic hands. I am a 40 yr old - extended tummy tuck, muscle repair, implant removal, and lipo 360. Love the results.
Long Answer: Honestly - if you are looking at Dr Oppenheimer’s website or looking at his social media account - congratulations - your search is complete. For Mommy Makeovers - he’s the doctor you’ve been dreaming of.
I had been searching for surgeons for quite a bit - from virtual consults in Colombia to in person consults in the US. From the moment I called Dr Opp’s office to schedule a consult until my 3 month post opp visit everything has gone smoothly.
For starters - his facility is beautiful and clean and most importantly calm. That’s the best feeling to get when you walk into a plastic surgeon’s office.
From my in person consult in late March 2024 - where I met Dr Oppenheimer, Andrea and Christina - it went great. I showed him pictures of my fit body before 3 csections and he felt confident he could make me look better than before. And what I loved is that he didn’t recommend add ons that I didn’t want (no pressure to get a BBL, no pressure to do an implant exchange or a lift).
My surgery was on June 3, 2024 and from walking in on the morning of - everything was very relaxed. The doctor didn’t seem like he was rushing and I knew he wasn’t since I was his ONLY mommy makeover for the day (he also had a shorter surgery after mine).
The nurse anesthetist, London, was lovely and kept me calm. I know I keep saying calm - because it’s true.
I had no doubt I was making the right decision.
For reference - I was turning 40 later that month - I’m 5’2” and weighed 148 lbs day of surgery.
I had an explant, an extended tummy tuck (he calls it a tummy tuck and flankplasty) and lipo 360. I had a csection shelf that bothered the crud out of me and my implants were recalled which is why I got them removed (they were also too high and too big for my small frame).
After surgery - the Dr checked on me to see my progress and I got to have a sleepover w nurse Christina-she was awesome. Felt like I was staying overnight w my mom taking care of me - she was so sweet and kept telling me to sleep (I was too excited - so I couldn’t shut down).
In the morning - the doc checked on me again and I was good to go.
I had silicone covering my tummy tuck and breast scars - but they looked good.
Post OPP at home went well. I slept, took my meds and ate bland foods for about a week or so.
I was taking small steps at day 2 and by end of the second week - I was mostly walking straight.
I got my drains removed at one week post OPP (drains sucked the most - but it’s necessary).
I’ve seen a few masseuses who are amazed at the results I achieved. And they tell me Dr Opp did an amazing job. I already knew that - but it’s nice to hear it from people who have worked on other Mommy Makeover bodies.
Highly recommend Dr Opp and his team! You will not be disappointed.
PS- At 2wpo I weighed 143. After the swelling went down - I was down to 138. That was an exciting feeling!
But of course - a Mommy Makeover isn’t the end all be all - you have to work out and eat well 90% of the time.
Thx Dr Opp for transforming my life and giving me a chance to look and feel 10 yrs younger!
