Revision and updates

Hi Dolls,
Sorry its been awhile since I updated a lot happened Firstly, around my 3-4th post-op a few months back in the spring Dr. M discovered some stitches had popped around my navel and my tummy was looking super weird, and had an upper and lower bulge. He was of course on top of it like a true professional and decided to have me come back in to get it repaired. I had to wait a bit due to covid restrictions on surgical procedures but luckily i my state of MD they lifted them around the end of June. So I booked to have my revision in July. Dr. Markmann did not charge me to correct it but i did have to pay the hospital fees and anesthesia again which were unavoidable. In any even he went in restitched everything and tightened up the loose areas that popped. He did such a great job so here are my 1 month post revision updates:
DIET: Still following a good vitamin and low calorie diet, small portions, I'm still eating fresh homemade soups, beans with quinoa, lentils, and doing fruit mainly pineapple and protein shakes for lunch, I'm avoiding heavy carb ingredients like flour and sugar and only healthy fats like coconut oil and nut butters. I completely things that would cause bloating or swelling like sodium and processed foods. So far lost an additional 6 pounds in another 6-8 pounds I will be back at my goal weight!
EXERCISE: No real exercise as of yet but I do get at least a few walks in and i invested in a fit bit. I’m taking everything super slow this time, i’m not going to let anything have an opportunity to pop I want to make sure everything is 100% healed and scar tissue holding it in place firmly before I do too much of anything. Luckily due to Covid I'm still working at home 90% so i only had to take a week off ( crazy right) and that was only because being on pain meds and having drains was going to make it too hard to sit up for a zoom meeting or conference call. by the second week i was able to lay in bed and participate in all my work stuff with my lap top.
HEALING: I look amazing and I’m still a tiny bit swollen but overall so freaking happy! look at my waist it looks amazing! I also love that I look so much more curvy! I’m going to be killing it in some tanks and shorts next year on vacation!!! Unfortunately due to Covid I won't be going on any real vacations which I'm totally okay with since I'm still in recovery mood. I will definitely be summertime fine by next year. Im wearing lipo foam and loving it and still in my binder and loving that too. I also got an ab board from amazon and those things are amazing for keeping swelling down. Im committing to wearing my binder or some sort of support at least for 6 months so everything settles in nicely. I have spent way too much money on this tummy to not have the best possible outcome and aftercare is super key to that.
SCAR: I’m using some scar strips pretty much 24-7 now I started around the second week post-op. my scar still looks low and amazing. I’m exfoliating it at least 3x a week in my showers and at some point will probably start working on lightening it up so it will blend into my skin better. But I'm about another month or 2 from doing that.
Thats all for now I will update more in another month. So if any of you guys are I'm DC/MD/ VA and still working from home like me i suggest you get to Dr, Markmann ASAP for a consult this is the perfect time to get your dream body and walk into 2021 summer looking AMAZING!

3 weeks and one day post w/pics

Hi dolls,
Hope you are all well and being safe wherever you are. I had my 3 week post op appointment this week. I finally have some pics to share without the garment! I am still very swollen but its way less than before. I Think I swole up more because I had lipo done on my waist, dorsal roll, and inner thighs. The swell hell is so crazy ....its like you can kinda see what you look like ....but then once the swell starts and i take the garment off its like mere minutes before i start swelling up ugh! Anyways I’m very pleased with my results so far. So heres a break down:
1. My scar is still very swollen and ropey but it will all go down theres a ton of swelling in that area more than anywhere else. My scar is currently a combo of glue, the marker Dr. M used to mark me up before surg, and some scabbing, The edges and my pubic mound have the flattest areas of the scar and it looks great! Its very flat, very smooth and I can barely see the incision its extremely low and I think will be very easy to cover I'm very pleased its in the natural creases of my body it will be very easy to blend the scar out. Dr M says i can start scar therapy in about 2-3 more weeks. I have to wait until the scab falls off.
2. My waist is amazing It drives me nuts that it starts to swell as soon as I move the binder grrrrrr but its all a part of the healing process
3. My belly button is a scabby icky mess but its fine its swollen as well. So at times It looks hooded or crooked but its perfectly centered and its an innie!!! I love that its going to be an innie
4. Im able to eat more but Dr. M recommended not to gain any weight so I'm going to watch the calories closer to be sure that i don’t the goal is to maintain and maybe loose a few but not too much. One thing I like is i’m still able to eat without getting super hungry thanks to all the tummy tightening so thats helpful.
5. I have lost around 6-8 pounds but since I'm swollen still I'm sure it may be more will have to just wait and see. My bras are now too loose so I'm wearing a sports bra It will be interesting too see what band I end up in I was a 36 D hopefully I will be a 34 or 32 D! My pants are also baggy now with the swelling I was around a size 9/10 so i will be interested to see what size i will be.
okay i’m off to grab dinner. Ciao!

Pre-pics had to move them around

AURGH... I need a website tutorial her or something LOL
Tried to crop and move some pics ended up deleting by accident Ugh ! Any one know how to go back and edit a previous post? Any-who these are just before pic for reference
