Never ever go to Dardano !!!
I had abdominoplasty with Dardano 10 months ago. He not only cut me in a way he PROMISED he wouldn’t ( vertical and horizontal scars) but he also left a horrible scar .. triple lines and very thick. He is rude, short, unfriendly , almost in every single follow up appointment he didn’t even said hello when entering the room.. instead ‘ Whats up?’ …. Obviously, at that point my husband and I felt it was useless to say anything and complain and we just went with it .. because it was done… he had already operated me…
10 months later post opt ( right now) I’m experiencing great discomfort and pain, bloated completely from top to bottom.. my entire abdomen is swollen and I’m experiencing nauseas .. so went to see him yesterday. He told me that it could be ANY other issue and not surgery related. When I asked him to order and exam go check on the integrity of the surgery he performed , Dardano said ‘ No .. because if I order an exam and something wrong is found , I would be liable’ …. Yes.. he said this to my face!!!
I asked him again and again to order a test to check on the sutures and everything he did on me ( determined not to leave that office without an answer) and then he agreed to order a Scan but without contract ( I’m allergic to contrast) and told me that exam wouldn’t show much anyways….. So when I ask for an alternative exam that would show details of my current state, he again declined to help and said ‘ Go to a hernia doctor, OBYN, IG, or another abdominoplasty surgeon…… maybe they can order other exams … I won’t order anything else because I don’t want to be liable if something shows wrong’.

I was very upset , but kept calm…( I had to bring my two toddlers with me to the appointment and was having a hard time processing what Dordano told me). Called my husband and while I was on the waiting room, asking a question to the nurse and trying to communicate with my husband, my baby began to cry …. Then things went worse !!! The front desk lady .. Kathlyn YELLED at me ‘ Get out of the office with your baby! He is disturbing!!!’ .. I said I’m sorry , he is a baby … Kathlyn yelled again ‘ Get out Claudia!!!’
I left right away .. shaking and in tears. Reached out to my husband and my husband told me we had to look for help somewhere else and report him.
Last night, I wrote online that happened and this morning Dardano told my husband over the phone that if we didn’t delete the bad online review , he would sue me.
Truly it can’t get worse. I’m not well and need fo find answers and also have to deal with this mistreatment and abuse of power.
Please be aware of this doctor. He was very friendly before surgery.. then he was another person. Same with his staff.. the phoniness stopped and real character showed. It feels specially threatening after such a surgery and vulnerable state …. Right After surgery and up until now , they have been disrespectful ( hanging up the phone on me when I called with after surgery pain, just days after the operation), dismissive, disrespectful…. Dr Dardano never explained to me until this day WHY he cut me how he did, never explained to me WHY my scar is so bad ( he offered to fix it under anesthesia months ago ; but yesterday he said ‘ no I won’t fix your scar until you find out with another surgeon what’s wrong with you .. maybe they have to open you up again.. so there’s no point in fixing that scar)…….
It’s all a disgrace.
My husband wasn’t able to work today , taking care of my two toddlers … one is only 2 years old….. And I’m in bed rest calling other doctors for help… It’s the weekend, so we are in a real nightmare. Dardano can’t care less….. He won’t order an exam to find out what’s wrong with me… and was even bold enough to ask me to go to the ER and have another doctor there order an exam … just because he doesn’t want to be liable.
How dishonest is this….?? I have to pay thousands of dollars to go to the ER for an exam order ?….. I don’t recommend anyone going to Dardano. His staff also blocked me on Instagram because I shared what happened on their Instagram page.
