WORTH IT
I’m so glad I found Dr. Sailes to perform my Tummy tuck with lipo to my flanks and back. He’s a true gem in the Jackson metro area. His bedside manner is absolutely amazing. It’s always a joy to see and speak with him. I can’t thank him enough for the great work he has done on me. I’m so pleased and I know that my results will only get better. The care that I have received following my surgery by Kayla his NP has been amazing as well. The time and attention she has put into my lymphatic massages has been great. I really appreciate her constant reassurance that the lipo tightness will get better. I couldn’t have found a better Plastic Surgeon office. Everyone at SLS has been so helpful and kind throughout this whole process pre and post surgery. I pray nothing but continued blessings upon Dr. Sailes and his craft and the great group of people on his staff.

Healing well. It’s amazing what 5 days after a procedure can do for ya. I can definitely see a difference in my stomach since my surgery. I know it’s nothing but up from here. Currently talking my antibiotics/lovenox injections. Dressing changes to my lower back, and up back from my lipo. I have completely stopped my pain meds/muscle relaxers. Walking, drinking my water, pineapples/the juice, and rest has done me well. Although today is day 5 I’m still taking it easy.

When/what day did you notice the shift in how you were feeling? I'm currently 2 days post-op and already wondering when I'm going to start feeling a little better, haha.

For me it was day 3 at least for sure. I had taken only one pain pill Friday morning of Dec 16. My bowel got to moving by Saturday so that was very more progress towards feeling better. We’re healing together and I hope your start to feel even better with each passing day.

I will be Day 3 post op tomorrow (12/9), so I'm hoping I start to see a shift then. I don't feel terrible and stopped taking the pain meds today (just transitioned to Tylenol). I'm hoping my bowels catch up to that, and some of the soreness goes away as well. Thanks so much!

That’s good!!! You’re making some great progress. Yes ugh, hypoactive bowels after a procedure is no fun. I hope you find some relief very soon. Your so welcome.

Here are some starting pictures. I’m so excited to know that I have found a surgeon that fits my needs. My surgeon is located in Jackson, Ms. My consult went great months ago and I knew that he was the surgeon for me.
