It’s been tough these past few weeks but I don’t regret it

I had my surgery a little over 7 weeks now, the pain I endured was through the roof and not very pleasant. From probably 5/6 weeks I started to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I now massage my scar and tummy for about 15-30 minutes each evening, I use E45 cream which is soothing.

My scar is still very red but massaging it is soothing and hopefully I will reap the benefits when it eventually starts to fade. I have started to do Zumba every night now which I have been doing for a good week, it got into doing yoga yet but that will come. I have still got swelling but I can now see what sort of shape I will be seeing.

I had my surgery in January (in lockdown) which is absolutely the most perfect time to get it and hopefully come summer I will be all ready to wear my summer wardrobe! I absolutely cannot wait. It’s been tough these past few weeks but I don’t regret it - I am very proud of myself.

Super Happy with my Shape

Mr Ross and his team are very professional, I am 7 weeks post op and can see what my shape will be (it hasn’t been easy - I am such a wuss) but the team at the BMI in Cheadle helped me through it.

I can start to see the light at the end of the tunnel, Emma the nurse has been such a sweetheart when I was teary and I was struggling to shower as I fainted every time I took my compression garment off and saw my scars/stitches - having my compression garment on was like my comfort blanket on and when I took it off I was stripped of my shield!

I am ok now and massage my scar for about 15 to 30 minutes a day now. I would have no hesitation to recommend. Thank you once again for everything xxx
