A little about myself. I am 31 years old and have 3 amazing kids. Having kids have caused my stomach to have tons of stretch marks and loose skin. I have tried over the years to embrace my "tiger stripes" but I just simply cannot. I have always been thin my whole life so dealing with this issue have made me extremely insecure. I never wear tight fitting dresses or belly shirts, and especially bikinis. I hide my stomach at all costs. I don't even feel confident enough to take off my shirt when I'm being intimate with my fiancé (although he loves my body the way it is). This is something I've wanted to do for years but never thought I ever would. I'm finally putting my happiness first and doing something for me.
I began doing tons of research on tummy tucks and looking at before/ after pics, complications, types of incisions, liposuction... u name it. I learned that it's very important for me to find a doctor that can create a very natural looking bellybutton, shapes the body into a perfect hourglass figure, and makes the incision super low. Eventually I found Dr. Reish and every single one of his before and after pics on tummy tucks were amazing looking. The personal reviews from his patients were also great. I looked at pretty much every single patients pictures and reviews that I could find and haven't found 1 complaint.
I ended up scheduling the consultation which was a couple of days ago. All of the staff was so kind and welcoming. The office itself is very elegant and classy looking. When I finally got to meet Dr. Reish, he immediately made me feel so comfortable. I didn't even have to express in detail how I wanted my stomach and shape to look because it's like he already knew. He said he was going to do tons of lipo on my sides to give me that perfect hourglass shape and the incisions itself would be even lower than my c section scar which is already very low. He also said he spends 30 minutes on the bellybutton (which is his favorite part, LOL!) to make sure it's perfect and natural looking. I was able to schedule the surgery for August 8th and my pre op is tomorrow! Now there's no turning back. This is really happening in 3 weeks! I'm so nervous and excited and have so much preparing to do. But I am so ready!

4 Days Post Op
NewtummyLeiAugust 12, 2019
Well I am now 4 days post op. I am not in too much pain anymore. At first I was in so much pain even with the experol. The pain is mostly from the muscle repair more and not the incision or lipo. Coughing has been awful too. I remember as soon as I woke up from the Anaesthesia I felt I had to cough and the pain that brought on my abdomen brought me in tears. A few times a day I have to cough to clear out this random congestion in my chest and it still hurts so bad every time. I haven’t sneezed yet thank goodness but I am dreading when that moment comes lol.
My next appointment is August 20th which is 8 days away. I feel like that’s kind of far away for my first post op visit and they’ll also remove the drains that day. I was told not to take off the garment for any reason or shower until then. So I still don’t know what my results look like but I was able to get a tiny peek under the garment and saw that the incision is super super low so that’s good. Other than that I have no idea how I look still which kind of sucks. I want to open the garment and readjust it sometimes because it has been scrunching up at the bottom. I’m just trying to be patient. I have high hopes that everything will be beautiful and flat. I’ll keep you guys updated with that when the time comes.

Congrats! How are you doing? Dr Reish and his team are amazing. Dr Reish did my implants 3 years ago and now I am scheduled to do a tummy tuck in October.
