Update to my tummy tuck oct 25. Wound dehiscence-wound vac- pico

Hello, this is my update to my last post.
I had surgery October 25th 2021.

I had issues two weeks after surgery but pain started becoming unbearable around 3 weeks when I knew something was going wrong. I began having pain that wasn’t there previously. I couldn’t wear my binder due to the pain. I couldn’t walk well because I would have radiating pain in my left side of my abdomen and leg everytime I’d take a step.

I tried reaching and seeing my doctor and was not able to: I was only able to see a nurse, still until this day (my first actual appointment with my doctor is next week at 7 ish weeks post op)

First appointment with the nurse I was given antibiotics but told I had no infection (although I’m almost certain I did because three days after antibiotics major pain relief began and red skin around wound was not longer as red) I was instructed to use a blue foam on top of the wound and dressing.

I went home for a few days when I woke up to a giant hole: the wound had officially separated. Two stitches were exposed. I sent a photo to the nurse begging to see the doctor in fear and was again told to just go in and see her. So I went. I was given steps to use the hydro blue foam to fill the hole and to bandage once a day. The wound got worse before it got better:
I went back a few days later when I was told perhaps a wound vac would help.
I’m now on a wound vac for 2 weeks, and have another 3 weeks of pico treatment.

I cannot say whether this has been worth it. It’s been hard. Especially on my family and children. I have gained weight and feel yucky. I was not prepared to be off for 7 weeks. I have to go to the clinic every second day, 3 times a week for a dressing change.

I’m missing some photos because I was quite sad at one point and deleted them all. These are the ones my mother kept.
If you’re going through this the advice I have is it will get better over time. Hang in there. One day at a time :)

Tummy Tuck Scar

Hello,
I’m struggling here.
3 weeks out of a tummy tuck. I know it’s still very early, but I thought I’d be walking and getting back to normal. But I’m chair ridden.
My scar is excruciating. It was healing well and than it just went sour. I sent photos to the nurse who insisted it was normal. But it doesn’t feel or look normal to me.
One side is healing perfect. The other side is a nightmare.
Besides the scar I know I have to wear the binder. However. When it’s on I have an excruciating pain on the left side of my abdomen that makes it almost impossible to keep on. It’s so bad that I shake putting it on. But when it’s off I get such a relief from the pain and can start to stand upright but not fully (which isn’t an option with the binder, at all I have to walk completely hunch over due to the pain the binder causes)
Any suggestions? I have to wait three more weeks to see my doctor :(
