Hello, I am from Arizona in the United States of America. After much research, I found Dr. Surmeli who is Turkish, European, and American Board Certified and a part of the elite plastic surgery societies for his exemplary work, compassion, and education. I came to Dr. Surmeli for an abdominoplasty revision, and tightening the skin around my midsection and arms.
Originally, my previous awful experience with a different plastic surgeon four years ago, I was completely botched. I have no idea what he did, but having to replenish 5L of blood, is completely abnormal, and says it all. He left me with severe chronic pain for years, which caused blurry vision, loss of apettite, and such sharp heart and hip pain. Lasty, I was so nauseous, I had to get prescription medication. Not to mention, he left me with the most unsightly scar and twisted belly button. In January of this year, Dr. Surmeli evaluated me in person with the intention to pursue with surgery and my deposit already made. Due to health concerns, I couldn't proceed with the surgery, and had to head back home to run more tests. Thankfully, he and his wonderful assistant Cansu with their communication, efforts, and time, they almost fully refunded me my deposit. The only reason why I say it wasn't refunded in full was the transfer fee. I returned in May, where he evaluated my health and physical being once more, where he explained to me I had an immense amount of fibrosis, muscle separation
(which should have been fixed by the first doctor), and a hematoma. I had no idea the problems I had with just swelling after one cup of coffee on an empty stomach for years later was because of these things. He explained everything to me in both visits in full, and never rushed, he did so in the most patient and polite manner I have ever seen in the medical field. I am so grateful to him, as all these problems have completely disappeared. Furthermore, he has removed so much loose skin, fixed my belly button, and left me with no scar at all!
Secondly, when I went to him, I originally wanted a 360 lift under my bust line and my hips to get rid of all the excess skin, as well as my arms. This was a result of my immense weight loss of 43 lbs (19.5kg), but he explained to me that he could use these new Vaser UAL and PAL liposuction technologies that would tighten the skin without potentially leaving an ugly scar that would come along with these procedures. I could not be happier, there is such a big difference, I used to have one very protuding fold, and now there is practically- actually nothing there! I am writing this 4 weeks post-op, with all the swelling, I am still feeling and seeing such amazing results.
Lastly, I had fat graft transfer and microneedling with nano fat grafting to the furrows of my eyebrows, temples, undereyes, and smile lines. Originally, I went in only for between my eyebrows, smile lines, and under eyes. However, after a thorough explanation of how the face changes with age with Dr. Surmeli, I also did my forehead area, temples, and above my lips as he deemed it necessary. Alongside these, I had VASER tightening underneath my jaw for tigther skin. This alone made the trip worth everything! It's as though I've gone back in time. I went shopping with my daughters three weeks post-op to Costco, and I got asked if my daughters and I were all sisters!
I want to thank Dr. Surmeli from the bottom of my heart, and wish you all the best in your career! You and your assistant Cansu were a godsend. Cansu made the whole experience so comfortable, always helping whenever she can, making the whole experience stress free! They are always in touch with me to keep track of my progress, and answer questions I have. Dr. Surmeli even made sure to ask me before I left, to always keep him updated with my results. Again, I can not thank you enough Dr. Surmeli. I look forward to seeing you both again soon!
