Dr. Setty Checks All the Boxes!
WORTH IT
I chose Dr. Setty after 5 consultations, 4 of which were paid consultations with doctors with highest and best reviews. I made the right decision for all the reasons that follow.
Starting with - the rapport and the connection with the surgeon and confirmation that he is focused on your desired outcomes tempered with his honest assessment of realistic expectations. I met with some highly experienced and highly regarded surgeons. I was not impressed. Arrogance, feelings of not being heard, lack of humility and sincerity, feeling that you are being gouged.
Next the surgeon’s skills and experience - It is now 7 weeks after my tummy tuck revision, liposuction, and 1 of 3 Morpheus8 treatments. The TT scar is clean, straight, and healing beautifully. My first TT left bad dog ears, zigzagged scars as if the surgeon used a dull knife to cut. I thanked Dr. Setty for using a sharp blade! Haha!
Next the surgery itself - clean, appropriately credentialed surgical facility, conveniently attached location, highly organized pre surgery procedures, amazing staff, not feeling like you’re in a surgery mill. That you’re their only matter for the day. This was very important to me so that I don’t feel like they have to rush to get to the next surgery.
Next the post surgery care and support staff - Dr. Setty has been in each follow up appointments. Never made me feel like he was in a a hurry. He patiently took the time to explain things and answer questions that I’m sure he had to explain and answer zillion times before.
Last but not least - Erin the nurse is super. A lovely person inside and out. She’s warm, responsive, and caring. It’s important to have your liaison person with the doctor be responsive.
I love Dr. Setty for his caring expertise. I want both caring and expertise in my doctor. He checks the boxes. I am planning to go back to Dr. Setty for other issues that I want to address.
