7 Weeks...

Here is quick update! It has been 7 weeks since my tummy tuck. I feel pretty good. I can stand up straight and can work a full day without feeling bothered by my incision (it used to feel too tight, with a pulling sensation). I think I’m healing pretty good. My incision is healing nicely, it looks very good to me. I’m happy with it. Now what bothers me is that bump on my left side. I think that will need some fixing. Also, my belly button is still not centered but I’m not making a big deal about it yet. I know I’m still swollen, mostly on my left side, so hopefully when that resolves it will get better. I also wish my waist was a little more defined. I still think not much lipo was done to my flanks area. My next appointment is February 22nd. We’ll see what my doctor thinks. I really like Dr T and I have faith on him. I’m sure he’ll do a little touch up, as needed...
Here are some photos from this morning (not as swollen as night time)!

Hey it's great to read your update!! You look amazing, you have a beautiful new tummy! Thank for the garment update, I'm sure I've saved you as a favourite don't no why I didn't get notification. Your tummy tuck looks perfect but I guess only you know if there is things you not happy with. I am still swollen so I don't see a flat tummy as yet. I have a lot of stretch mark below my belly button that I'm massaging creams and bio oils, I am limited to what I can do with he stretch marks. I have bought postpartum belts that I wear on and off,, as much as I can bear, I am better in the morning keeping it on, by the afternoon I'm ripping it off lol I am looking into light exercises. Are you thinking about exercise were you active before? I've been reading up a lot wouldn't want to do much to soon. Keep us updated thank you :) Happy healing xx
Thanks Nice245! Yes, I'm happy with how my tummy looks. I was lucky I never got stretch marks but since I had had lipo on my stomach area my skin didn't look too good. Now my tummy skin texture looks much, much better! I'm also happy with how my TT incision is healing! I haven't had any issues with it, thank God! My doctor warned I could have problems healing because of scar tissue but thankfully it has not happened. I seen many reviews were the incision opens up and it looks very depressing :-( not an easy thing to deal with... Yes, I was exercising before my TT. I'm slowly getting back to it. I understand how you feel about your belts lol I wear a compression garment all day and I even sleep with it. It does help with the swelling a lot! I kind of was used to it though... I used to wear a garment often to keep my tummy compressed but now I'm excited to eventually not to have to wear it anymore and still have a flat tummy, yay!! That makes me so happy! It gives me sense of freedom and it feels great! The issues I have with my TT are minor, for the most part I'm pretty happy!! I'm 47 so I feel I look pretty good lol but we are just always our worst critics and see our defects more than anyone else... :-( That's good you are proactive with your skin and using the bio oils, etc. For now I'm just using silicone tape on my scar and coconut oil on the rest of my body. It keeps my skin nice and soft! I think once my scar is completely healed it will look very good. I think it already does but it will fade much more. I will check on your review for updates. I hope you continue to heal nicely without any major issues!!
Hi hope you are doing well, I have just done my update. I guess now my goal is not to put weight on and hold on till I get back to the gym!! Can't wait to be active again. Good luck with everything and keep on posting :) x
Hello Nice! I just saw your update and you are looking so good!! I hear you about putting weight on!! I'm just getting back to my exercise routine (I'm going to be 8 weeks next week) and I haven't really weight myself because I'm afraid of seeing the scale numbers going up so I'm just going to wait for a few more weeks before I step on the it lol
Thank you.. What are you managing to do? I use to do my gym classes , squats, weights and cycling before I don't know what il be able to do other than treadmill and a stationary bike! Erghhhh I want to stay toned. Not been near a weighing scale yet either lol
I exercise at home. I'm just doing a little cardio. This week I start arm exercises with 2 to 4 Lb weights. My doctor said I should not lift anything heavier than 5 Lbs so I'm taking it slow until my next follow up appointment and see what he says then...
You look great. I can understand the waist situation. I want someone that's going to defined my waist as well. From all the reviews I read and his IG page, he likes to please his patients. Crossing my fingers he will do a little bit more lipo for you ) Keep us updated! I am following your journey.
Thanks and good luck on the search for the perfect PS for you surgery. I hope you get the results you expect! I'll keep updating as my healing progresses. :-)
How is your healing process going??

Photos...

Adding the photos again because the ones I posted before got cut off. I could only see part of them. I hope it works better this time.
Nice 245, there is also a picture of the compression garments I told you about (no zipper).

Did you have any lipo done with your tt?
TT included lipo of the flanks. I paid extra to lipo my upper arms, bra straps and axilla area I can definitely tell I had lipo on those three areas I mentioned and I'm happy with it. On the flank area, I did not get any bruising or tenderness which I still have on my arms, and under arm area so sometimes I doubt I had any lipo on my flanks...
I got a little lipo on my axilla area as well. Like you it's still bruised. This may be a redundant question, are you going back to get your flanks done?
Is assumed I had flank lipo. I just feel like I didn't. I will probably bring it up to my doctor on my next appointment and see what he says...
Good luck! Keep us posted! Happy healing
How are are doing? Update please
Hi! I'll post an update later today.
Hey! How are you feeling?
Hi Maglin! I'm feeling good. I still get swollen but I feel much better. How about you?!
Can you provide a link to where u bought the compression garment or the name of it?
It is a Leonisa seamless high waist shape wear. You can get it at Amazon.

One Month PO...

Hello everyone! So today is one month since I had my tummy tuck! I wish I could tell you most of the swelling is gone and I’m able to see my amazing results but I have to be honest and I’m not there yet. I feel my recovery has been very good and, thank God, I haven’t had any major issues. Funny thing is that yesterday I had to sneeze and I felt a little pop and then I got a little more swollen than usual... :-( :-(
I had my 3 weeks PO last Saturday and my doctor said everything looks good. I was told I can start using silicone strips on my TT scar and change the binder for a compression garment. My next appointment is in February, right after my two month PO.
Here are a few pictures. Some are from 3 weeks PO and some from today, 4 weeks PO.

Hi you look amazing!!! You’ve got a cute belly button, can’t wait to see mine. Where will you buy your compression garment from so much options out there, I have been looking but don’t want anything with zippers in middle don’t want to leave marks on my tummy. And sizing also a headache I’d guess it would be trial and error. Are you walking pretty much straight? And how does your muscle repair feel? Mine is sensitive and I can feel it all the way down quite prominent and swollen. Do you still get tired in the day? :)
Thanks Nice245! Yeah, I like my new belly button, I think is better than the one I had before. It is still a little off center but hoping once the swelling goes down more it will get better. I hope you love your belly button, once you get to see it!! I'm just using compression garments I already had so I haven't purchased any new ones. One that I have without zipper is a Leonisa I got at Amazon. I'll post a picture for you... I can walk pretty straight but my doctor said he doesn't want me to be completely straight yet, to let my scar heal, so I hunch tiny bit. I feel kind of a pulling sensation and if I ever have to cough or sneeze, I feel the center of my stomach, from below my chest all the way down I think that's my muscle repair. I do get a little tired by the end of the day but just a little!
Hi thanks Fortas garment picture il look into that, I guess 1 month in , is still quite early, you've made so much progress an look good for it!
Thanks and good luck on your recovery!! I hope it goes smoothly, without any major problems!! And yes, I just saw pictures of one of my doctor's patients (RealSelf review) at the 3 month mark and she looks so much better than in the 1 month pictures! Yay! :-)
You look amazing!!! :)
Thanks!!
