3 months post op

Just popping in really quick, had my 3 month post op check in and all is well. My flanks re still super swollen and my tummy continues to swell throughout the day. My weight fluctuates between 199-204, I swear I breathe and BAM 204 smh! It’s been really hard getting back into working out consistently and also drinking water. I was drinking 3 liters a day and now I can barely get to half a gallon. I am going to try to be as consistent as possible and really push myself. Cardio is my enemy but I love walking and bike riding so I’m on my way to put some air in my bike and I’m going to do a solid 16 miles (riding to and from work) atleast 3 times a week. Picking up fresh aloe to also apply to my scar and stretch marks. My next check in is in 3 months and my Gil is to be down 20 pounds and consistent with my diet and exercise! I will continue to check in monthly on my progress with pics.

Quick update a little shy of 3 months post op

Hey y’all, so I was waiting for 3 months because I wanted to focus on me and working out and eating healthier. Let me tell y’all, it was a struggle but I found my rhythm and loss over 5 pounds. I went on vacation and gained them 5 pounds right back smh ! So ok we gonna do this again and stick to it. My body is healed there is no pain in my stomach however I still experience pain, swelling and numbness around my sides. The pain mainly comes from massaging the area out. My stomach is pretty numb but I’m gaining some sensation back and I notice it because it feels weird after not really feeling anything for so long. My stomach still swells daily but I don’t mind that too much. On vacation I wet jet skiing, snorkeling, kayaking n did a whole bunch of swimming and walking around and of course eating ... by the end of the day I looked 4-5 months pregnant if I pushed my stomach out I was so surprised lol . But every morning I woke up flat again. This is still the best decision I’ve made for myself and I’m more than satisfied with my results.
I will say that my stomach being so snatched has caused my legs to look huge so I will be focusing on losing weight as I mentioned before and toning up.
I’m going to come back monthly and update on my weight loss journey and show my progress.
Attached are some pics from my trip.

5 1/2 weeks post op

Hey guys, I’ve been so busy showing my new body love that I missed last weeks update. Sorry :-( . But nothing major to report, I’m just adjusting to the new me and getting comfortable with it. My sides still swell . My tummy swells throughout the day but I can hardly tell lol I didn’t get this surgery to have a super flat sculpted stomach so I can’t even imagine what I look like with no swelling . I went out over the weekend and received sooooo many compliments I was like dang did I look crazy before ?! Lol .
Today is my order day back in the gym, I started light with 35 minutes of cardio. I’m gonna do my weights and I’ll probably start with my legs today . Back to eating clean because I’ve been eating all the things I would never allow myself to eat prior to surgery . It’s been a good 5 weeks but I’m back to my clean eating !! I’m hoping to lose 12-15 pounds over the next 6 weeks because I’m going on vacation and I need these legs toned.
Oddly enough, no one s asked me if I got my stomach done. They’ve all asked about my boobs, my hips and my butt lol . Here are some pics that I grabbed just now before the gym. I can’t imagine my stomach flatter than this, at this point I don’t even see swelling but it’s there.
