Since my last post 1 year ago I’ve have a beautiful baby girl putting my surgery on hold. Today I visited Dr. Davoudi at his Buckhead office and I’m super impressed. He was excited about the results he could give me. We talked about low and short scar, which would prevent an enlarged mons and likely lead to revision surgery. He is very concerned about my hernia and told me to be very cautious until my surgery date because it could get worse. He suggested a breast lift only, he feels I would be happy with just a lift. I’m not really a boob girl but I would like to enjoy my new tummy without my boobs hanging on top of it. I’m super excited and will book in the next few weeks.

I visited with Dr Davoudi today and I’m excited and nervous. I was hoping to book 6/28/19 because of my work schedule but it looks like 7/1/19 is the big day. I inquired today about lipo under my chin. The doctor said that my skin is borderline loose and it may not tighten up after the fat is removed causing a true turkey neck situation. He didn’t want his name attached and I didn’t want to take the chance. Initially he said I wouldn’t need lipo on my laterals but he would decide during surgery to get the desired look. I didn’t want to deal with two different types of pain/recovery. But I want to look BOMB so if needed it’s happening.

The countdown begins..

My nerves are getting the best of me. My pre op lab work is tomorrow and final payment is due on Monday. It’s getting real, I’m going through a ton of emotions right now. Mostly worried about how my household will function with me down. For once, I’m doing something for me and should be unapologetic about it but I’m not. I will get over that soon enough! This liquid diet scares me, I’ve been adding protein shakes into my day and hope to slowly start replacing meals with liquids so it will be habit by the start date given by my surgeon.
