Glowing, heartfelt recommendation - abdominoplasty, plication & liposuction

I had an abdominoplasty, plication and some liposuction with Dr Montilla. He is a wonderful person with a lovely bedside manner and addressed all my concerns. I had gastric bypass about 12 years ago, and had lost a great deal of weight, but had never reached my goal weight. However I wanted to get rid of hanging skin. I had seen another doctor who had refused to do surgery on me until I reached a lower BMI, though enough time had passed that it was obvious I was not going to get much smaller. I knew this was not an ideal situation, but I still had side effects that the skin was causing. The other doctor made me feel "less, and shamed" and that I would never be able to reach this goal he had in mind for my optimal weight. So Dr Montilla attitude was very refreshing. In terms of the surgery that was done, it was perfect, my abdomen has gone from the place I hated most on my body, to a favorite. I just love it. It was painful, but the pain was controlled. I was pretty comfortable after a few days and up and moving about the day after surgery. Dr Montilla's office staff is very sweet, and has been consistent over the past year, people knew me by name, and I know their names. I had my surgery and Saint Vincents, again people there were very caring. A fantastic experience all in all, and I am so happy with the result. If I had to do it again I would in a heartbeat.
