Nightmare Experience

Nightmare experience. You don’t see the doctor for your initial visit. I specifically wanted 2 procedures done in one surgery which I made clear at my initial consult. I scheduled earlier in the year and met my deductible for my insurance going to clearance lab draws and testing because my mother had a blood clot at age 65 and was a heavy smoker. The contract states that if you change your mind within a month they can keep your deductible or even all your money. Then I met Dr. V. He comes in angry telling me I may wake up without implants and was I sure I even wanted the surgery amongst other negative things with a negative tone. The nurse told me he was having a bad day because someone else was unhappy with their results. At this point I am second guessing whether or not I want the surgery. I’m afraid if he is so confident I will be unhappy then why should I trust him with my money or results. Every test came back good. I then was even sent back to the hematologist for more genetic testing. Almost like they wanted a reason to cancel my surgery and take my money. I wasn’t approved for my surgery until the Friday before my Monday surgery and was told at that time to pick 1 of the 2 because he wasn’t doing both. This was very upsetting because I would have never chosen him if I had been told this from day 1 and I’m being informed 1 business day before surgery. Fast forward 3 months later and he is wanting more surgical clearances and then the price of the second surgery goes up significantly from the original price. Mind you I had already had a prep op with him prior to the 1st surgery and was told to choose one just prior to my surgery day over the phone. He had no idea which I would choose. Now 3 months later if I want the surgery done it was going to be an additional $5k for something I was clear I wanted earlier last year and then all the additional add ons he’s saying I need now due to my skin integrity were going to be even more. If I had chosen my breast for the first surgery I guess I would have most likely not woken up with implants then? The significant price increase came 3 weeks prior to my 2nd surgery date. I couldn’t come up with the money in that amount of time and had to cancel. I asked for my money back and they said I didn’t qualify! He changed the the contract the minute he changed the pricing and reported needs! I will now need to hire a lawyer for a refund of my money. Not being seen by the doctor initially and him making last minute decisions in my opinion is a way for them to trap you in to getting your money no matter what. You think you are getting this then you get that and if you don’t like it they get paid no matter what. Not to mention I lost my PTO for the rest of the year and I cannot even try to schedule with someone else for a year now! This is the first bad experience I’ve ever had in cosmetics and WOW did I learn so many lessons.
