10 month post op
It’s been a while but I’m back with some thoughts. I’ve had concerns but once I flew home New Life stopped returning my calls. The last time I spoke with someone the nurse said it could take five years to see my results lol that basically let me no she was trying to say anything to get me off the phone because it doesn’t take five years to see your results smdh. What I don’t understand is before my TT my stomach operated differently it disposed my food I could see it slim down but since the surgery my stomach stores food for days. I’ll be bloated for almost a week it’s frustrating. I’m not sure if the lymphatic tissues are still rebuilding but I’ll never No because my doctor staff won’t call or make sense when I do reach them. There was a time where I’d wake up with a flat stomach and other times wake up to it poking out. Much smaller than before but I don’t like the puffiness and with it being almost a year post op I’m hoping I won’t need liposuction in the future to get it as flat as I’d like it to be. I’ll show a few pictures.
No pictures update just an update on follow-up care
Today I make 4 months post op and I have a lot of unanswered questions. Most of my questions are about swelling and wanting to make sure I’m headed in the right direction. I don’t regret having a tummy tuck the only thing I don’t like is once I left back home to houston I felt like just another number. I reached out to Dr. Simmons on Instagram he saw my message and didn’t respond. It would be nice to get some feedback after you pay these people. I was promised call backs and haven’t gotten one yet. So I would say if you can get surgery in the same city you live in that would be better. If something bad were to happen I couldn’t get these people to call me back. Once I spoke to a nurse about swelling she told me it can take five years to get final results. This is far from the truth and I could tell she thought that would get me off the phone quick. Although I got treated nice while I was in Miami at their facility the follow up care is horrible. They could care less. So far I’m dealing with swelling still. I can’t really tell my true size. Maybe next month or at the 6 month post op mark I’ll provide pics. For now I just wanted to share some thoughts and feelings after I look at the over-all care.
Two month post op
I’m feeling back to normal. Still swelling that’s the part that’s not fun. Determining if it’s swelling or if you’re putting on weight. Finding the balance between working out and not being able to is tough. I’ll be back on my treadmill walking. The incision healed perfectly. I don’t have any major complaints. I got lucky no keloids. Still drinking a lot of water and watching my food portions.
