Getting better with my confidence and self-esteem

I had an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) with a muscle repair and umbilical hernia repair with Mr Hanson in February. I'm 43, I'd had four children (three were c-section deliveries) over the last 12 years and my abdominal wall never recovered - I looked about 3 months pregnant. It left me with low self-esteem and low confidence. I decided I needed to try to make changes, so when I knew a tummy tuck was what I needed, I attended a consultation with Mr Hanson.

I was very nervous and had three pages of questions in my notebook; he was patient - addressing them all, and even went through what the procedure involved by sketching it in my notepad. I knew he was the right person to perform the procedure for me - he and his team were courteous, sensitive, amiable, and very competent. I felt I'd be in safe hands and I was.

The after-care was brilliant, it was tailored to my healing, and any questions or concerns I had were explained and addressed quickly.

I'm so happy with my results and I'm getting better with my confidence and self-esteem. I just wanted to be fixed and I never thought I would care about the scar until I saw how neat mine was! I normally scar ugly. I couldn't recommend Mr Hanson more highly. He, Lelaine and Anne-Marie made the experience an amazing journey of transformation. :-)
