2 months post op and feeling amazing - I have my confidence back

I am a mom to twins that are 3 years old and a 6 year old. I was rocking the total mom bod with with separation of my rectus abdominis muscle and loose skin from my previous twin pregnancy. I lacked in my self confidence and hated the way my body had changed. Clothes never fit right and still being in my twenties it really broke me. I took a lot of time researching plastic surgeons. I joined all the diastasis recti pages on Facebook and tried a couple other surgeons in my area and just wasn't feeling confident in making a choice. And then I came across Dr. Amaka, I heard amazing things from previous patients who traveled from out of state to see her. So I started reading about her experience, her schooling, followed her on Instagram and watched her videos she posted that explained the procedures.... I instantly felt comfortable. Her calm and kind demeanor, knowledge, and ease at explanations blew me away. I booked a consult and counted down the days. I even booked and started paying for the surgery before even meeting her in person or having a consult. I was that confident she was the right person to do the job and after finally meeting her I knew I was right. 

Surgery day came and her nurses and surgery team were amazing and kind. My husband kept asking me why I wasn't nervous. I had nothing to be nervous about because Dr. Amaka's knowledge and calming demeanor had reassured me everything would be fine. Dr. Amaka exceeded every expectation I had. Surgery went great and the recovery process had started. I live a little over an hour away and went home right after surgery. Her nurse Lisa checked on me post op and was there for me anytime I needed something. I had a slow healing process at first but no matter what Lisa would respond to me and be in contact with Dr. Amaka to help me. I have a tiny part of my incision still healing and I feel I have been made a priority in Dr. Amaka's busy schedule to get it resolved. I am currently 2 months post op and feeling amazing. I have my confidence back, I LOVE my body, and I am forever grateful to Dr. Amaka and her entire staff. They truly are outstanding people who treat you like family instead of just another patient.
