Long Wait Time

So I’m starting this review before my conclusion to give people a heads up. I confirmed my consultation in October 2020 for July 2021 because that’s how booked Dr. Hsu is. I called recently to find out how soon after the consultation I could have surgery and they told me 6-10 months after the consultation. I’m so bummed. I was looking forward to having surgery in the fall. Which means that having surgery with Dr. Hsu is approximately 2 years in the making. I'm just disappointed by the wait time. But on the brighter side of things. This clearly shows that people are seeking his skill and expertise.

the time goes by so fast i promise! november 2019 i requested a consult, then i had my consult june 2020 bc of covid delays, and then secured a feb 2021 sx date. i had to reschedule to may 2021 due to work, but i think dr. hsu is worth the wait!

Wow so you’re just like me in how long you have to wait. I have a consultation with another Dr in April whose work is really good as well. I’m torn because if doctor kordestani will be able to do surgery this year, I might go with him. But I still have a consultation in July with Dr. Hsu. I’m afraid that if I don’t lock in the surgery date with Dr. Kordestani then I’ll have to wait until next year as well because he also gives surgery dates of 6 months after the consultation. And also with this snow storm that took place in Texas, I’m sure it’s going to screw their whole schedule up. I don’t know what to do.

I was looking at a pretty long wait with my doctor too, but I was able to get in a lot sooner due to a cancellation. Maybe that will happen for you too.

I’ve decided to cancel with Dr. Hsu. Too long of a wait. But his results are amazing.
