After several years of considering a tuck I’m scheduled for this week. Like most I’m nervous mostly about the unknown (pain) and long term(scar). I will post before and after. I’m more than open to recommendations on care, what to expect and your own experiences. I don’t have “rolls” of fat just sagging skin on tummy and when sitting it looks like a lid lol I’ll also have lipo on my flanks. I have a recliner to use I’ll miss my bed that’s for sure! Thank you in advance for advice on my upcoming surgery.

Best of luck. I'm ten days post. Doing great. I didn't find my recliner comfortable. Slept in bed from day 1.

Thank you I’m 3 days in. I couldn’t believe the pain although I though I had “high pain tolerance”. I agree this recliner isn’t the greatest currently my back is in the most pain. The incisions dont hurt yet anywaysI had 3 drains that was a surprise and disappointment I guess Dr knows it’s for the best I have Monday check up. In 10 days I hope to say doing great like you! I was so nauseous from the anesthesia I got sick, that was hell. Finally able to hold down some applesauce and cracker. I envy you sleeping in bed. Can’t wait to get back to line.

Congratulations! I know when I had mine I thought I was dying... But I’m back because I wanted to get my breast reduced and lifted with an arm lift! So I’m 4 days out,

Wishing you speedy healing & great results. I’m on day 9, as you recall smallest things are a victory! I’m just taking it daily with no set expectations in my mind. It’s done so I have to work with what I have. When did you start scar therapy? Silicone sheets? Thank you

Hi, what made you decide to have TT and Lipo instead of just liposuction? I have no kids as well. And I dont know if I should have TT or only lipo.

Hi when I sat down the skin was loose no amount of exercise was changing that, lipo would’ve caused even more loose skin. I discussed for a few years with Dr. then decided either live with the lower skin when sitting or do the surgery. So here I am 15 days out feeling better but a long way from “ healed”. In a few months will likely have less swelling and tightness when moving. Everything is healing well it’s just a process. Wishing you well on your decision. Discuss with your Dr. and see what your best option is.

I wish I could do it next year. Just have to save up and hopefully find the right doctor. All the best to you!

It took me years to finally decide. It’s your body and only you know what’s right.

The first 3 days were just unpleasant. Anyone thinking it’s like a C section is in a fantasyland. The muscle tightening was the hardest but getting better daily. I’ve had 2 Dr. Check ups and another s heckled Friday for possible 1 drain removal. Hard to know what things will look like 1-2 months down the road but with Dr.s skill & ability I’m positive. A few pics of today #5.

I had mine on 12/3 and am still trying to wrap my brain around whether this will be all worth it.

Kind2842 I had mine Jan 4, 2018, so it’s coming up on 2 years and I can say yes, it’s the best thing I’ve ever done for myself (despite some recent annoying menopausal weight gain). I know at the beginning it doesn’t seem like it at times, but hang in there!

Thanks. I am sure trying but my mood is all over the place. I am approaching 3 weeks. I am trying to wait on the healing process but the occasional pain and very tight mid-section is making me be more annoyed. I know acceptance will eventually come and I just have to be patient. I keep looking at pictures like yours to keep my hope high. Thanks for sharing.

It’s been a process but going well. Tightness and numb around BB but healing well. Looking forward to staring scar therapy to smooth & flatten scar. I had 3 drains, down to one. I like knowing all of the fluid is getting removed so I’m not rushing the removal of the last one.

Hi - how long did you have the 3rd drain in?
Do you still have skin tightness when standing straight?
