WORTH IT$6,500
So I’m a little surprised at my body- I felt like i was up and moving around really well- I’m still NOT completely upright...so yes back pains. Also i have pretty bad separation at the center of my incision...and I have my post op in 4 days (I sent pix to my PS and he wasn’t worried). There is no infection, it’s just not closing. If I was able to rest in the previous weeks, maybe I’d be further along... but I’m a mother with 4 kids (12,11, 9&5) and that’s impossible to do.
Anyways, whenever I eat anything, my abdomen swells (that could be due my auto immune disorder) and I have had a huge appetite ever since I woke up from surgery! I thought my appetite would be less...go figure hahaha
I’m glad I’m healing, ultimately satisfied with the results!

So what happened after a month can I know more after a year
And more pictures please wouldn't really like to know how everything went because I'm thinking of doing the same thing
I’m literally only 1 month post op.
Congrats on the tt, you look great, hope the wound is healing better now that more time has passed. I've met your ps, very nice surgeon. I choose anotgervequally amazing ps. Feel better soon doll
Hi you look great. Question, how did the appointment with your Ps go? I had my TT 6 weeks ago and I still have a dime size separation and my PS tells me not to worry. I have drainage coming out. Not a lot but I feel like it’s no where close to closing.
My ps checked it out and confirmed there was no infection & told me to do use neosporin on it to keep it from drying and cracking- and it started to form new skin slowly from the outside in! He also told me if I feel like it’s not healing how I want it to that i can come back in a month and we can do a scar revision. I will post more pictures soon- just been busy with work and kids! Try the neosporin and no cover/bandaid and be patient- it will get better! I was freaking out too at first.
I will definitely try the neosporin!! I’ve been keeping it covered with gauze and I think that’s the reason why it wasn’t healing. Today I went the entire day with no gauze and I feel like i had very little drainage. Thanks for the update.
Thank you for sharing your journey , am just starting mine , excited but very nervous ,
It’s definitely an emotional rollercoaster- so just remember why you are doing this, and that healing takes time!! You will do wonderful! Good luck!

Almost 1 month post op

My body has been telling me to rest- and I wasn’t listening. Part my fault, part my bff’s fault- she held me hostage b being the driver to and from places so I couldn’t take myself home. Not cool. Yes, I told her. So today, when she called, I said “no you can’t come over and no I don’t want to be on the phone either!” My hubby was proud! I felt so exhausted and ill today, I slept from 930-230pm and feel a little more refreshed.

My incision separated even more! I decided to clean it and try “wound seal.”

So far I like it! It creates an antimicrobial scab to assist in healing- and will fall off on its own when the area has healed appropriately. I wish I could say healing was easier for me- but I also have an autoimmune disorder & my body attacks itself often. But I still love my results thus far.

My incision is looking better than before, minus a little separation at the center-I’m keeping it clean and applying vasoline, as well as silver wound gel where the separation is. Lots of itchiness as the skin heals, my belly button doesn’t look as gooey either, using the same vasoline and silver wound gel within it too.

I’m still a little hunched over, but I can sleep on my sides a little more than before- back sleeping is still most comfortable- oh and I’m back in my bed vs the recliner! I’m hoping to stand completely upright soon!!
