My tummy tuck journey! Only two weeks away

Sorry I haven’t updated. I started seeing a wound care doctor and he had me using iodosorb on my T incision opening… My surgery was September 2, and today is November 10. And the T incision just closed this week.

I got my drains out at three weeks.

Unfortunately at the beginning of October, I had another opening along my incision line. I think it was an ingrown hair and the infection just tried to find its way out of my body at the weakest point, which was my incision line. That was on October 10, so it’s been about a month and it is getting pretty close to being closed.

My plastic surgeon discovered that I have some sort of bacteria in my culture from when she remove the drains, so I have to go see another doctor this week to see how to treat the bacteria. She thinks it came from my water, I have well water at my house.

I’m still not allowed to exercise or work out or do anything strenuous until this little hole closes. So I feel like a tub of lard. Lol.

I’m not really “in love” with my results. My hip dips are much more prominent now. My belly button is cute but it has these blobs of skin inside that look a little weird? And she didn’t do any liposuction right underneath my breasts so I still have a prominent fat roll…. I highly doubt she will offer to do anything about that.

It has been very taxing on me, mentally and emotionally, and of course financially.

Included a picture of the first day of my hole, most recent picture of the hole, my closed tea incision, and my weird belly button

2 weeks post op. Ugh.

Went to a post up on Monday. She took a look at the necrotic spot and still recommended that I treat it with Neosporin. She said she does not want to remove the dark colored tissue/scab because it is acting as a biological dressing and possibly protecting the healthy tissue underneath. I’m not really noticing an improvement. And I am terrified of it spreading, getting bigger, or causing even more of my incision to open.
I am living in an L shape.
Sleeping, walking, any kind of movement, I am completely bent over in an L shape and it’s killing my lower back lol.
I have a very painful spot to the left of my belly button, no idea what it is. ??????
Sneezed yesterday and felt like I got stabbed in the stomach.
My drains are not producing anything worth writing home about, so I’m really hoping she takes them out Monday at my next post op, because I just want to feel some remnant of normality.
I have a couple “shelf“ looking indentions on both sides of my waist. I’m pretty sure it’s from the ribbing of the binder, but I don’t think she approved me to purchase or use a different one. Either that or they are just very very very sharp lines from the liposuction. Hope they heal out more smoothly, in to a nice curve…. Because right now it just looks odd.
I am still horribly swollen and very uncomfortable. And nothing seems to help that. I’ve tried Arnica, bromelain, low sodium, ridiculous amounts of hydration, absolutely nothing helps. Oh well. New pic added.

4 days post op… possible tissue death…

Depressed. Regretting this whole thing…
Surgery was 9/2, I’m 4 days post op…
I just went to my second post op appointment, and she removed the tape from my incision. I have a “dark spot” at the T mark.. She says it could be from pulling/stretching too hard, or from my husband exposing me to his secondhand smoke…? Which makes no sense because he smokes on the back porch and I don’t go out there….?
She wasn’t very nice about it either. Made me feel stupid. Didn’t give me anything to hope for or be positive about…
She had to change the bulbs of my drains, because yesterday my husband couldn’t get the clot out when he was emptying it, so he tried to wash it out, which I guess is contamination… So now I have to have the drains in THREE more weeks, she has to UP my antibiotics, and she says there is no way to tell what my “dark spot” is gonna do; I just have to wait and see.
Could be necrosis, could be nothing, just wait and freaking see… for 8 weeks…? Really?
Anyone else experience this? Pic below
