You Won't Be Disappointed

Be prepared & don't do this alone - today is my 6th day post op

Today is my 6th day post opp. I had a tummy tuck done by Dr V. I am no stranger to surgery as this is my 4th procedure done throughout the years, but let me say this has been the most challenging out of all four.

DO NOT DO THIS ALONE. You will need help no matter how independently you are. Simple things such as getting out of better, pouring a drink or wiping are difficult to do alone.

DO NOT PLAN ON DOING ANYTHING FOR THE FIRST 1-2 WEEKS. This surgery is no joke. It is painful and you will be laid up in bed most of the time. I recommend a recliner as that is easier to get out of when needing to get up to use the restroom. Limit your movements. Dr V warned me about the pain, not doing this alone and needing help. I underestimated how much though.

BE PREPARED. I would buy groceries, meds, etc early and have everything ready as it will be difficult to get these items after surgery with ease.

Dr V and his staff have been so helpful. They call me almost every day or so to check in on me and see how I am doing. I have had one post op appointment so far and have my next one coming up. I may update this again but wanted to share w/ you to take this surgery serious!!! Even reconsider it if you can't handle pain. This is the most painful surgery so you will feel it even with your pain meds!

ORIGINAL POST

You Won't Be Disappointed

I visited Dr. Vasisht for a tummy tuck consultation. He was very informative and answered all my questions. I felt confident that he would be the doctor for me. I felt listened to and learned so much about my procedure. I saw Dr. Vasisht on a Friday and on Monday I called and booked my surgery for 11/19. I will update this with photos and new info once I get the surgery done.
