Incredible doctor and staff - Dr. Steinwald is a true artist and you are his canvas!

I had plastic surgery with Dr. Steinwald and I couldn’t be happier! I chose Dr. Steinwald for many reasons, but, one was he was willing to listen to me and accommodate my requests. I had an initial consultation, years prior, with a different doctor at a different facility. That doctor wouldn’t do my requested procedures all at the same time nor would he do the extent I had wished; I desired an extended arm lift and extended tummy tuck.

That doctor told me they don’t do that and that “I need to accept my body and quit being so hard on myself”!!! I was so shocked and turned off by that surgeon that I waited another two years before seeking out a second consultation with other plastic surgeons. I was referred to “The Center for Cosmetic Surgery” by a friend. While she highly recommended her doctor, I asked specifically for the doctor who specializes in body contouring after massive weight loss. Without hesitation, the receptionist said Dr. Steinwald!

Once I met with Dr. Steinwald, I was hooked!! Not only did I have loose skin from massive weight loss six years prior, but I suffered from scars, abnormalities and scar tissue from previous abdominal surgeries from when I was a kid. Dr. Steinwald was actually familiar with my diagnosis from back then, which sealed the deal for me. Not only is he a skilled plastic surgeon, he is all-around incredibly knowledgeable!! Lastly, he was confident in performing all procedures at the same time!

To me, that spoke to his experience and confidence in his work! The one surgeon that wouldn’t do all procedures at the same time tells me he doesn’t have the skill or experience to do so! Now I’m not going to lie, Dr. Steinwald was NOT the cheapest. But there are certain things in life I won’t skimp on and plastic surgery is one of them! You may get what you pay for in that department!

I had an extended brachioplasty (arm lift), an extended abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) with lipo to the hips and back and a minor upper thigh lift with lipo on the outer thigh. Tiffany was my nurse the morning of surgery and she was EXCEPTIONAL!! Because of my arm lift, my IV was supposed to be in my foot. For some reason, that really freaked me out. She was so very understanding! She went above and beyond and made the IV happen in my arm! She was amazing.

My anesthesiologist was Darin (I think…there was a lot going on that morning). He was OUTSTANDING! He had such a calming demeanor and was by far the best anesthesiologist I have ever come across. I am no stranger to surgeries and the worse part of waking up is the excruciating sore throat from the breathing tube! I woke up from this procedure in complete comfort and NEVER had a sore throat at all! Darin was absolutely the BEST!

I honestly didn’t know what to expect in regards to my results. I wanted to be realistic, but was excited at the thought of a contoured and tight shape! Dr. Steinwald EXCEEDED all my expectations. My incisions are so tiny, perfectly straight and placed completely out of sight!! My arms scars are literally on the bottom of my arm where you cannot see them! My under arm scars follow the natural shape of my body versus cutting straight down.

My abdominal incision is low, perfectly thin, flat and complimenting to my shape. I was worried I would end up “boxy” as I have seen from some other tummy tucks. Not at all! Dr. Steinwald is a true artist and you are his canvas!!! I am beyond thrilled and highly recommend him, his staff and the beautiful facility.
