I have been taking weekly photos to document progress. I have no restrictions in my activity now that I am six weeks post op. My incision is looking very nice. I have a small spot where my original belly button was closed that is taking a little longer to heal, but it’s getting there. Zero pain or discomfort.

Little set back

Well. I was feeling great, no pain, walking, driving a little and woke up all of that erased. Pain was terrible, I was nauseated, my drain output doubled. Turns out I have an infection. Seems like we caught it quickly and antibiotics are doing their thing, but I was still a little disappointed

I am basically back to normal. I have been working for the past three weeks and was cleared for exercise this week. I’m now six weeks post op. Still have a little bit of swelling, especially after work, but it’s much less.

I have debated this procedure for a long time. After multiple consultations, I felt comfortable with Dr Deutsch. I had my surgery yesterday and pain is there, but less than I thought. Getting up/down is quite a challenge, tho
